Is the option to 'Save My Hand History' enabled in PokerStars (Settings -> Playing History -> Hand History)? If it is then are the text hand history files being generated while you play in your C:\Users\Noah\AppData\Local\PokerStars\HandHistory \{Player Name} folder? If they are not being created then try saving to a custom location e.g. C:\StarsHH and if they appear there then reconfigure PokerTracker 4 to import from that location instead.

Please attach a sample of hand history files to a Support Ticket so that we can investigate for you. If you're not sure which files they are then just compress the hand histories from the entire session/day and attach them all. By default PokerTracker 4 moves your processed hand histories to your Processed folder which you can access via the 'File -> Open User Data Folder' option.

In the meantime for any tournaments with incorrect data you can update the information manually using the Tournament Results window.

Just use the regular VPIP stat and as long as it's used in a table averages HUD group that will give you what you want.

You can add a filter for being IP or OOP but if you wanted to display them in the report at the same time that would need a custom statistic for each. I will be uploading a package of statistics including this to the Download Warehouse either tomorrow or over the weekend as the previous package that was uploaded by a third party had some inaccuracies.

There isn't a built in stat for that but there may be similar stats if you search the custom statistic forum or the Download Warehouse and you can edit them if they are not exactly what you are after.

is there anyway I can send someone my last 100k hands?

You could use My Reports to make a new Hands report and filter it to show the last 100k hands (More Filters > Game Details > Dates), and then select all hands in the report (Ctrl-A) and right click > Export Hand Histories.
Loading that many hands into a report will take a little time, but I guess this isn't something you would need to do very often.

If you know the period that covers those hands a quicker alternative would be to use the Advanced tab in Database > Export Hands and use the date filter there to export since the appropriate date.

I'm using the built in ignition hand grabber. Is there a way to copy the hand histories that they work in HRC? Or maybe a converter?

Generated hands are in a format as close as we can get to the downloaded Ignition hands, but they have some minor differences that are required for accurate import so it's possible that they aren't supported. Do downloaded Ignition hands work? If they do, you may want to send a few of your generated hands to HRC to see if they can add support.

Hi,

Experiencing that PT4 stops updating tournament randomly. After looking back at each session, I see that they stopped mid way or so. Noticed it at first on the ITM ones, and now need to manually update them every other session when it happens.

Is this a known?

Do you mean the Hud stopped updating, or the hands stopped importing?
Does the hand history include the hands after PT4 stopped updating?
If you use Get Hands From Disk and import the hand history file does it import any new hands?
What site are you playing at?

I've now uploaded a package of statistics for this to the Download Warehouse called 'Fold To CBet IP & OOP'.

See this post for an example using the 'PFR' stat. Also if it's for cash games you need to use cash_limit.amt_bb instead of tourney_blinds.amt_bb

i think there is an error in the stats
it shows that i was IP in the SB and folded to a flop CB in position (7/9)

I am only seeing this in heads up hands (where the SB has position postflop vs the BB) so add a filter for there being 2 players dealt in and the results for the SB position in your report should remain the same.

Anyone else struggling to download the new update?

They start to delete codes from account that uses on 2 pc-s.
I use PT4 almost 6 7 years, and yeasterday they take my code and delte account bcs 2 persons use this code on 2 diff computers.
But 1st person buy this code for me and give it to me,he dont use pt4 many years.
They see problem when i post on support bcs i made thread from pt4 client udenr code email and then i post from browser under diff name.
Bcs of that they close my account,and now they can sell this code to another person bcs no one use it now.
I dont see where is problem if i use this code many many years,they now maybe dont have a lot of sales,and they now start to take away accounts with 2 pc uses.
And you cant convince them that only 1 person use this PT4 code.

P.S.
I pay for this tracker 250$ and now bcs of post with 2 differnet accounts in support thread i loose it all. My integrated HUD(150$) that i buy just gone,i cant get them ,bcs they are not avalible for download from pt4,but anyways i cant log in to pt4 anymore.

I am not aware of any download issues so can you please provide us with more details about the problem you are having in a Support Ticket. Let us know the details of any error messages you may be receiving and if necessary attach a screenshot so we can see what is going on.

That's not why the code you were using was disabled (the owner of the code contacted us directly for a replacement after you opened a support ticket using their account) and I don't have anything to add other than what's already been discussed in your support ticket.

When I launch PT4, I get the following error:



My Postgres database is set up correctly. I am able to connect to it without a problem through Holdem Manager.

Any idea what could be causing the issue and how to resolve it?

If you compare your database connection settings in PokerTracker 4 and Holdem Manager are they the same?

It's not clear from your screenshot what's 'messed up'. Importing hands from another player won't affect your own statistics because you will each have different player names in the database and your statistics will be stored separately (unless you are using the hand grabber or converting hands from third party software where you may both share the 'Hero' name) but you can remove hands from your database if needed by purging them.

I just deleted the bb/100 and the AI-Adj bb/100 stats and re-entered them and it fixed the report. Somehow it was showing like 2kbb/100 WR etc. I was worried I had somehow messed up my database w/ duplicates or something else. Sorry to bother you, I am a noob when it comes to these issues.

No problem and thanks for the update. Duplicates are not a problem when manually importing hands since a duplicate is a poker hand that's already in your database so if you see them that's just PokerTracker 4 letting you know it's skipping the import of those hands.

Hi,
checking my late game in MTTs I got totally unrealistic results for allins with won or lost bbs between -15 and 15. (filters are: hands went to showdown AND went allin AND amount won / lost bb between -15 and 15)

I did the math and a run like this has a likelihood of 1 in >400 BILLIONS (lol)

I checked same HHs + same filters on HM2 and I got same exact absurd results. Is there something that I am missing? How could you guys possibly have the same bug on a specific filter?

I asked HM2 support as well and they think the calculations on the HM2 side are correct.
But they can't be. We are talking 10 sigma from the mean.

I'm getting this problem. Couple of years ago I had the same issue on different and only by the help of PT remote assistant who did some magic on my computer I was able to solve it. Also, something really weird is happening on my new PC. Whenever I play, after some time my computer froze and starts lagging really hard so that it is impossible to properly play. Other times the computer runs smooth and I'm afraid that it might be connected with PT4 since this has happened in few previous sessions I played and today I got this error message. I would really appreciate any suggestions, maybe it is possible to set up a session with an assistant. Thank you.
