Is any of your content provided by a third party? That error usually means you have custom statistics which use additional tables which need to be added to the database outside of PokerTracker 4. If so you will need to contact your premium HUD developer to find out what you need to do to your database for those stats to work.

To do that you add new popup groups and then link them to the on-table group using the Assign Popups tab in the top-middle of the HUD Profile Editor. See our HUD Guides and watch the tutorial videos by clicking the green question mark in the bottom left of the HUD Profile Editor for further information on setting up your HUD.

weird thing is i can still import hands properly into my first database, even now i can only import hands into the first DB i created, any new DB i create doesnt work properly, cant manually import and import while playing

As I mentioned before is any of your content provided by a third party? The "FATAL ERROR sngm does not exist" message suggests that you are using third party content for your HUD so please read the directions you were given when you subscribed to that content. If you're still having problems after that contact your premium content provider and they will be able to guide you through the setup that you need to do in order to get this to work on your new databases.

How do I create popup which works when I go with mouse over a main HUD stat? (no click, just come with cursor over)
I created pupup under "popup groups" and choose it for a main hud stat under "table groups" and then "popup" but it works only when I click that main hud stat.. not when I go over it with cursor. When I go with cursor over there is popup with these:
Player, Stat, Value, This session.

What's up with your ticket support? Nobody's replying for almost a week.

That isn't configurable however if you want to be automatically notified if this functionality is added in a future update then you can let us know in a Support Ticket.

Hi Rob,

I'm having an issue with PT4. The last few days sometimes when I open it, nothing happens and after a minute or two if I go into Force Quit menu it says not responding. Last night it did this 8 or 9 times before it finally opened properly. I haven't updated it in a while and I have the option to update to 4.14.26. Should I just go ahead and do that and see if it resolves it? Or something else first?

I'm on Mac.

We always recommend that you keep up with new releases to take advantage of poker site updates, bug fixes and new features although that might not resolve this particular trouble. So we can investigate that for you can you please enable logging, reproduce this issue and send us your PokerTracker4.log file along with your most recent 6 or 7 PostgreSQL log files in a Support Ticket:

Note in that last guide how to properly set and reset the PostgreSQL folder permissions - if the permissions aren't correctly restored PostgreSQL won't be able to restart.

I've got a weird problem - I've been trying trying to delete some quick filters, but everytime I re-open PT4 they come back again!

Please enable logging, reproduce this problem and then send your log file to us in a Support Ticket. You can access the log file by clicking 'File --> Show User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window - the file we need is the text file called 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder.

If that error occurs again locate and delete the postmaster.pid file if it is present (not "postmaster.opts" which may be there too). You can find that file in C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.3\data\ although you may have a different PostgreSQL version (e.g. 8.4, 9.0) or have it installed in C:\Program Files (x86). Once it's deleted, reboot and try starting PokerTracker 4 again. Also if you're using any security software (such as antivirus, firewall), please make sure to follow the instructions given in the Security Software Configuration Guide. If the trouble continues then please reproduce this issue and send us your PokerTracker4.log file along with your six or seven most recent PostgreSQL log files (which will be stored in your "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/x.x/data/pg_log" folder) to a Support Ticket so we can investigate further:

Hi, having a problem, my pt4 is not tracking sit and go hero 3 max, if i play 10 sng hero 3 max then tournaments played just shows 1 game played. but is tracking cash game and sit and go hero 4 max pretty well.

Partypoker have recently changed the format of the hand histories for these tournaments slightly which means that PokerTracker 4 does not detect them properly. We have an alpha build which resolves this issue so if you want to try it please open a Support Ticket.

Trying to download the recent software update and keep getting this error message:



HUD no longer works and software keeps freezing when I click the "stop importing hands" tab. Please advise.

Hi... I updated my PT4 tonight ( hadn't updated it in a cpl of months ) clicked Get hands/auto-import turned on, and every hand is being loaded as an error. 0 new hands have been detected/ 0 duplicates, just 17k errors and counting. Why? Help!!! Ruined my whole session today/on uner tilt. I closed it a cpl of times after it had gotten to 3-5k hands, hoping I could figure it out/stop it, but now I am hoping that it will eventually cycle through all these hands and be good. I fear that won't be the case.

Yeah, I tried to re-DL the update, and getting the same message. I think the first time I did the update something went wrong and that's why every hand was being loaded as an error. Would be nice if PT4 support got back w/ both of us; it's likely a problem on their end.

I can't seem to find the stat for facing a pre flop all in. For instance, when we open BTN and SB goes all in ( with 20,25,30bb etc )

Also I would like to filter my 3b stat for all in and non all in. Is this possible?

Restart your computer and then re-run the PokerTracker 4 update file as the very first thing you do after restarting and that should fix this problem for you.

There isn't a built in stat for that but you could do that with a custom statistic - see this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough. There may also be some similar stats if you search our custom statistic forum or the Download Warehouse and you can edit them if they are not exactly what you are after.

I actually just went to my DL folder and re-installed the previous version, and it is working fine again. You guys might need to look into your new update. ( I play on WPN fwiw )

There is an issue with WPN hands in the latest release and we have an alpha version available which should fix this. If you would like to test that instead of waiting for the next update please open a Support Ticket.
