Question: I backed up my database (PT4) on my PC,
Then tried to upload it to PT4 on my laptop, and I get a message about the databases being stored on different Postgres, how do I get around this?

you shouldn't need to upload to database, you can just re-import the hands from the processed folder on your PC and move that across to your Laptop

In most cases the different PostgreSQL versions won't matter and the backup should restore OK. The only exception being if you're trying to restore to a significantly older version of PostgreSQL, but in that case you can just update PostgreSQL on your 'new' computer to the same version as the 'old' one. Restoring to newer PostgreSQL versions shouldn't cause any problems - that's part of the normal process when you want to update PostgreSQL to a new major version.

Question. I play on ignition and use the hand converter to put hands into PT4. Everything works fine but the all in adjusted EV doesn't work, it just displays the same numbers as my C won. Any way to fix this? Thanks.

Should I make app that is like PokerTracker 4 but in mobile phone? User could enter moves on table and app save everything and analyse it. App would tell procents and recomend moves to player. If this idea is good what price I should sell it. Is 100$ per month too much if user can make that in one week. And do someone know how much money i can make these pokerbot that tell me what I should do?

We do not support Ignition so we can't promise that hands converted by a third party product will work correctly in PokerTracker 4.

I was reviewing my hands recently and I saw somehow in notes, for some players it showed their 3bet ranges and other notes in your note system that I had not made myself. I just looked now and cannot find this, but I am wondering how/where PT4 does this itself and how I can get more of these notes if I add notes to HUD.

Those would be notes made by the NoteTracker tool which is enabled by default in PokerTracker 4. You can access NoteTracker via the 'PokerTracker+' menu item and for further details see this guide.

My database got too big on PT4 and I had to create a new one (exported some hands - imported them into the new one). Computer ran out of memory when I tried to rebuild cache and importing didn't work without it.

Is there any way to import my player aliases from old database into the new one ?

Hello pokertracker, i have the problem that pt4 doesn´t import correctly my hands and it appears a question mark next to my nickname, also i used two differents pokerstars clients so probably something is wrong and this thing happen and i remember that before i have a different symbol,i attach image to be more clear, what is the problem?solution?

Aliases are stored in the database and will only transfer via Backup & Restore and to perform database functions such as rebuilding the cache and backup/restore then you generally need as much free space as the size of existing database.

We have a guide for getting things setup with PokerStars here. PokerTracker 4 only supports English so both hand histories and poker table graphics such as the "Fold" button all need to be in English. If you need any further assistance getting things configured then please open a Support Ticket.

I just upgraded my PT4 holdem from small stakes. I wonder if there is anything else that i need to do? Can i play high stakes immediately? Do i need to update my PT4?

The license change after upgrading takes place on our end so all you need to do is restart PokerTracker 4 and you can import the higher stakes hands although if you play tournaments and find that the HUD isn't working at the higher stakes tables then rebuilding your database cache should resolve that.

If you need to do that click "Database -> Database Management", click your database then "Rebuild Cache -> Full Cache Rebuild". Be prepared for this to take a considerable amount of time if you have a large database, so you'll want to run it when you're not using PokerTracker 4 for a while (such as overnight maybe). Make sure that your computer does not power itself off or go to sleep while it's running or you will need to run it again from the start.

How do I make a report starting at tourney id X and finishing at tourney id Y exactly?
Setting exact time span including hours, minutes and seconds would also do if that's easier to manage.

Note that you need the single quotes around the tourney numbers when using the expression.

I'm really struggling to get PT to import Spin N Go Max results properly - it never seems to record the buy-in correctly, record the result correctly, and my Net Adjust it all over the place.

Support for this new tournament type has not yet been added so if you would like to be automatically notified on that please open a Support Ticket. It would also help if you could attach a sample of hand history and tournament summary files that aren't working for you. By default PokerTracker 4 moves your processed hand histories and summary files to your 'Processed' folder which you can access via the "File -> Open User Data Folder" option.

Hmm, is there some big "reset button" for all settings?

My cash game hands show up fine, but whenever I try searching through any tournament hands (through reports, statistics or whatever) it shows as blank. I've tried nullifying any settings that would cause this but can't seem to find a reason what does cause this. Restart didn't help. Hands/stakes have shown up just fine in the past.

Is it possible to be able to add the average stack statistic in BB's ?
