Just wanted to mention that theyre a ton of mac converts who still use bootcamp/fusion/parallels because HEM is so good. Once the HUD is better and it is based on postgresql I'm sure youll get more converts, I'd certainly be one of them.

HEM or PT won't come to a mac anytime soon so you've got a head start but most of us have been spoiled silly by HEM.

Haven't decided if it will be worth it as is, but once the HUD works for PLO, I will fork over my $50.

Today I released an update for Poker Copilot (version 1.62). This update allows placement of the HUD and gets started much quicker.

You can download from http://pokercopilot.com/

Regards,

Steve

Will customers who buy Version 1 automatically be able to upgrade/update to Verions 2 and beyond? Or will we be charged?

Thanks!

OK, fair enough.

Two quick questions, then:

Is there an ETA on Version 2?

Can the program put table stats on the HUD? I haven't been able to find that.

I do like it a lot. thanks.

There's no ETA on version 2.

There's no table stats. Sounds like a good idea though!

Steve

Steve I'm having trouble getting the HUD stats to appear on my table (full tilt). It says 'No Hud data available yet', but the programs it reading my hands because it shows the stats in the Basic Ring Game stats section?

Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same trouble with the 1.60 update. Have you downloaded the 1.62 version yet? It fixed it for me.

(Sorry to jump in for you, Steve, but I happened to be here.)

Yeah I downloaded that version, still not working. When I click 'show hud' under the heads-up display info it shows my exact table and poker room to. I even played about 50 hands, still nothing,

The HUD checklist:

* is your computer time set correctly? It must not be even a few minutes fast for the HUD to work.
* is your computer timezone set correctly?
* is PokerStars/Full Tilt set to write hand histories in English?
* is PokerStars/Full Tilt user interface in English?
* after turning on the HUD, did you play at least a couple of hands?

Regards,

Steve

Steve,

I understand that there is no ETA on version 2, but do you have a ballpark guess? Summer/Fall anything? Trying to plan ahead here on my end... I just bought a new macbook pro and don't really want to dump windows/vmfusion on it.

My only gripe at this point would be the inability to handle high hand volume, though I may not be playing a ton of hands in the immediate future. I'd probably be able to get by with the current version but would need v2 eventually. Good work so far.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Ballpark? I'm aiming for 3rd quarter..but that's only a ballpark and could change for all sorts of reasons!

Steve

Hi

I downloaded an old version of this some time last year (before it had a HUD etc and only kept very basic stats) and didn't register it as it didn't really have all the features I wanted then so the demo simply expired. Now I'm trying to sample this version as it sounds a lot closer to what I'm after. Trouble is as soon as I install it and try to launch I'm told my demo period has expired because I presume it's still checking the installation date of the old version I had (I don't recall what number it was, possibly a 0.xx beta if they existed? It was certainly very different to this form it's in now anyway.)

I don't really want to just go straight ahead and register it without trying it first - any ideas how I could get it to run for the 30 days?

Thanks.

Hi,

I had the same problem when trying to new version but it looked promising so I bought it....

It's the best piece of poker software available for mac, I think. The hud works really well and it's nice to finally have some tracking software. I have been waiting for PT for mac for ages now and this is a nice alternative.

Just 2 more questions:

#1. On the Copilot website the price is indicated at 'Only $49.95' but I paid with Paypal and got charged $60,44 (€48,61). Could you explain why I needed to pay that additional $10,49????

#2. When I reach the maximum hands level while using the hud will Copilot just stop working? Or get the oldest data deleted so it just keeps tracking? Or do I need to manually delete handhistories after 150000 hands?

Thanks

Hi Vagabond,

#1 I'm in the EU. You're in the EU. Unfortunately that means we've got to add VAT, MwSt, or whatever sales tax is called in your country, and then pass it on to your country's government.

#2 After 150,000 hands the oldest data will drop out and get replaced by the newest data. It's an automatic process. So yes, the HUD will keep working.

Regards,

Steve

I'm confused. does this mean copilot can only handle 150,000 hands?

Yes, Poker Copilot only handles 150,000 hands, currently.

This will be changing for version 2.0

Steve

I can't get the hud to work. I changed my computer time to match poker stars. It just says hud is unavailable.
