[GTO] PioSOLVER - postflop equilibrium solver for Holdem
Hi punter, why is it that pio sometimes prefers a higher freq with a play that actually has a (usually only slightly) lower ev compared to another play? Are these inaccuracies? Is it doing this for the purpose of balancing perhaps?

As to your tree:
While its far from ideal the tree starts with forced 3bet and 4bet so the starting pot is already 75bb (I am guessing). While it's not ideal that there is a mistake as big still at this accuracy this might happen. I can rerun the tree with a different subset/accuracy if you want me to but maybe you could experiment yourself.
In general the solver is not as good at preflop trees when one of the initial ranges is small unfortunately. That might be one reason it has trouble converging further.
Also I know you're not a hardware expert but can you confirm the basic estimate of CPU speed is # of cores times the base clock?
I am currently using 20 cores @ 2.2GHz, compared to 3970x which is 32 cores @ 3.7GHz would make the 3970x approximately 2.7 times faster--is that correct?

I calculate the ev for a certain node with the command "calc_ev_line" instead of "calc_ev" and they vastly differ from each other.

Thanks for your response! So how would I reconstruct the exact EV's from pioviewer then? how exactly are they being weighted?
The reason the numbers are not exactly the same is that the solver returns absolute EV of a line. That means that if you for example call 100 on the flop then call 100 on the turn and then fold river he EV of that is -200.
PioViewer translates that number to what most people are used to (final fold being 0 EV). The translation is rather straightforward and it's controlled by the formula you can edit yourself (look into Tools->Configuration).
Did I join these scripts correctly? Where do I save now and how do I load it (in order to solve multiple scripts)? This is saved in a .txt GOD BLESS
A better (imo) way to do it is to create a separate script for all trees, add:

Then create a .bat file like this:

(assuming all of the scripts and the executable are in the same location, if the scripts are somewhere else you would need to use a full path to them).

-flops + turns (recommended as it's a good balance between file size and speed of resolving)
-full tree (very big files)
When you load a save it will automatically recalculate missing parts of the tree on the fly while you browse. In case of flop only saves (micro saves) it will take a while but in case of flop+turn saves it will usually be around 100-200 miliseconds which is barely noticeable. This happens automatically when you browse, no need to click/request anything.

Is there a way to insert a backslash in piosolver? I try to click backslash in logs or in any box that allows me to type characters and it always display a ¥ yen sign instead of \.

Is there any way that I can set up piosolver ranges of fold/call/raise by myself at the %s that I want so it shows up like in the screenhost that I have uploaded here?
For example: 25% call, 25% fold, 50% raise with AQo, dividing this hand in to blue, red and green colours. And do the same with all the hands I want.
