How do I make it so that the combos are not always 50/50 or 33/33/33?

Is it possible to have multiple notifications when a calculation is complete? I would like to add both opening a url and a sound file but seems like it's only possible to do one of them.

If I purchased the piosolver edge but then realized that my computer is not able to handle all the functionality like I anticipated, is there a way I can downgrade to a lower version and get a refund?

You could combine those in one program (or .bat file) and choose that as notification when calculation is complete.

In general our commercial versions are not intended as trials. There is a free version for that. Refunds complicate accounting and incur additional costs for us.
I realize the edge version doesn't have a trial now. It's geared towards people who have really serious hardware. By that I mean 64GB of RAM and a fast modern CPU (in general at least hexa core). If you don't have access to hardware like that it doesn't make sense to buy it.

That being said we will refund it for you if you ask in reasonable time (1-2 weeks). Our refund policy is that we don't ask questions unless someone is abusing the license. We can only afford to have this policy because in general abuse here is rare. Most software companies have no refunds once the program is opened policy. I hope we will not be forced to switch to that.

hey, thinking of buying PIO pro. Was wondering if you need to have Microsoft excel for aggregation analysis of if you can use something like google docs or open office instead.

Aggregation reports are just .csv (comma separated values) files. They are readable with a lot programs, like: Libre Office, Google Docs, Excel etc. You can even open them with notepad but then you will not see nice formatting. We recommend either Libre Office (free and ad-free) or Google Docs. Excel often doesn't read those files correctly by default depending on the location you are in (it assumes a comma is a decimal separator and is confused by dots if your country uses this format). It's possible to change but requires finding those options.

How can I see EV of each bet size (but for whole range, not each combo) in pio, without using aggregated reports file?

It's not clear what "EV of bet size" even is. You can go into the branch after a bet and check EV there but what you will get is EV of the range which is actually betting. Maybe try describing what you need, preferably with a simple example so I can better understand it.

can someone tell me why im getting an error with the stack sizes set?

It looks like you don't have access to write in Program Files. This can be caused by Windows settings or 3rd party antivirus. The options are:

1)Try a different installation folder, for example C:\PioSOLVER
2)Try running the updater as administator

Pio works with stacks up to 65535. This is for legacy reasons (I was paranoid about RAM usage when I first programmed it). Please divide the stacks and pot by 10 or 100 and it will work.

For preflop solving, is it best to use 1 or 2 bet sizes per street to fit in the most amount of flops?

Definitely use 1. The preflop solutoins won't differ much (if at all) as long as you provide reasonable bet sizes postflop and it's much better to get more flops in instead of making postflop play more complicated.

Hello, I have a question about the rake please :

At 25 NL, 5% rake with 1.6 euro player cap, when using stacks of 1000 (to simulate 100 bb and avoid fractions) what do you put on the chips cap?

Since 1.6 euro = 6.4 bb at 25 NL I thought it would be 64 chips but the results look very wrong.

Let's do it in dollars because $ is more readable than E.
A big blind at 25NL is $0.25. $1.6 is therefore 6.4bb
To have the same situation at 5/10 game the rake would need to be $64 to match 6.4bb.

It looks very wrong because the rake at 25NL is ridiculous. Sadly your math is right though.

The colors on 13x13 grid are simple average. Check "bars width porportional to weight" checkbox on the right (one of the 4 available ones) to change the average to weighted one.
As it is probably JsTs, JhTh, JcTc all bet here and without that checbox checked they are included in the average even if you never get them at this point.

Yes, it's on the to-do.
Right now you can achieve it by:
1)first choosing ace high
2)choosing "selection" and manually marking all backdoors, this is easy to do by choosing proper suits and then marking all hands with those suits (for example two hears on Ks 8h 5d.

Hi. I have pio solver Pro version. Even that i didn0t buy the Edge one, i believe i should be able to open preflop files in order to see them.

It looks a little dim. Does basic/pro/edge version make an adaptation for the high-resolution ration?
