Does anyone have any recommendations for what kind of computer to buy that best supports Piosolver and some low level online play? No mass multi tabling needs or anything. Oh also right now I play on sportsbetting.ag but would love to hear recommendations of what sites to play on now that I won't be restricted by a Mac. Thanks!
Are you buying a laptop or a desktop computer? If a laptop make sure to get one with 16GB of RAM and preferably with a real quad core CPU (not dual core with hyperthreading). If you are getting a desktop then it's definitely the best bet to get one of the new Ryzen CPUs as they offer the best performance/price ratio.

On the preflop solver I choose how many flops to use but I still get and error message command all flops command not recognized any help to solve this error would be greatly appreciated.
The preflop solver is only available in the edge version. It requires very serious hardware to run (64GB RAM at least and a fast modern CPU). You can solve pure preflop trees (without postflop play) with any version including the free one.

After setting strategy in range -> clicking fixed -> lock all hands -> set strategy, the fixed hand range goes back to proportional.
Is only one of them fixed? If there more than one fixed then they will be resolved as proportional (cause you can't fix AA to bet 100% and call 100% for example).

Also after locking node, the strategy on any street ( before or after ) unless I click Go ( which solves it back to unexploitable ).
It seems some words are missing in that sentence so I am not sure what the problem is. On your screenshot it doesn't look like anything is locked, if it was it would show "LOCKED" flag, like this:

Make sure you are in fact locking the hands and not just changing the strategy by using those radio buttons:

as a somewhat pio noob, is there any merit to setting the round strategies to 1/1 (so you don't get a mix, a combo is either 100% or 0% call fold or raise) if i am not worried about balance (playing live low stakes)
It's hard to say. What would the point of doing that? The resulting strategy will be very exploitable. You may hope it's good enough for your games but I am not sure what the point of rounding is anyway. You are losing a lot of information by doing that. For example before rounding you know that hands with mixed strategies are at least close/borderline while after rounding slam dunk call looks the same as a marginal bluff-catcher.
