It won't fit under 32GB. 40 flops (which isn't ideal either) with 100bb is doable under 32GB if you insert simplistic postflop play but that's about it. No chance for 200bb.

it was an oversight from me not to put it in the distribution itself but starting from this version it will be in your Pio folder.

I downloaded piocloud's samples but I can't load them to view in Basic version. What am I not understanding? How do I load and view the samples in preflop viewer?

Message is: Failed to load file, error: load tree couldn't open ... file doesn't exist or isn't a valid save

You need to connect to the preflop browser:

1)Solver->Connect in the top menu
2)choose preflop-browser.exe

You only need to do it once, the viewer will switch between preflop browser and postflop solver automatically as needed when you are building trees or loading postflop saves.

When I load an old tree into Browser, I'd like to be able to copy the config file from it to paste and load and tweak the tree in the Tree Building area. Is this an option?

Just had an idea and wondered if you had considered it.

Right now initial strategies are always to choose all options equally likely. If you could choose the initial strategy, however, seems like that could speed up the solving process significantly in some cases. I'm thinking for preflop especially, when, for example, you've already calculated the GTO strat at a certain stack depth but you know an opponent plays a certain way and want to see how the strat will change to exploit their leak with combo locking. But many hands will play the same way as they did initially. For example, 10BB deep, A2o will probably be an open shove no matter what. Seems like "telling that to the solver" would reduce the number of required iterations significantly.

This is a good idea but it's not that easy to get significant speed-ups from it. I already tried some naive approaches and didn't get anything. This is definitely something we will be experimenting with in the future.

The problem is that it seems it's way more difficult to get exact balance than ballpark solution and current algorithm doesn't waste that much time to get to something semi-decent.

Look at the desitnation folder in the updater. Maybe you deleted it by accident (it looks like it).
Usually it's C:\PioSOLVER (if you didn't change anything)

Nope, destination folder is the same. I checked it again. I have no clue why It won't let me update, keep saying that "directory name is invalid". Any other way maybe?

Can you make a screenshot from the updater before clicking "check for updates"?
As for a temporary workaround you may just use download link directly and unpack it somewhere.

There is nothing inherently suspicious about it but one can only say if the whole config is provided.
