Are you allowed to have this open at the same time as Pokerstars client?

It is officially confirmed from PokerStars that oRanges Calculator is compliant with PokerStars rules and is permitted for use when PokerStars client is running.
But the program will not work with full functionality.

Can you load different saved ranges from the range constructor with Pokerstars

Do you mean possibility of working with the Range Constructor when Pokerstars is running?

If yes, I am afraid the answer is no. Pokerstars rules do not allow to work with oRanges Calculator and other programs of this type when Pokerstars client is running.
oRanges was placed in the Pokerstars list of acceptable tools after embeddind
check for accidentally launched two programs together.

You've got a great application going. I use your app almost everyday in my holdem studies
and think it is the best holdem calculator I have ever used on my Mac.

I've already validated my license but have gotten 1 or 2 emails telling me to activate my license. Just a glitch or ?

Also...you previously said that we can use on two computers (win/mac) so do I need to activate my license on both within the 7 days or can I do it later?

Does this software do anything that Flopzilla does not?

Has a sweet range constructor and some other built in tools. Also mac compatible.

After you've completed your purchase, you received a license key by email, which is valid for 7 days. You must validate and activate this key at first.

AFTER activating this key, you received a new perpetual license file, without any limitations on the validity period. You have to validate and activate license file.

When I see that someone has activated 7 days license key and forgot or missed to activate license file I usually send a reminder. Sometimes it happens several times.

Oranges Calculator is licensed on a machine basis. Each license is so called node locked license which is bound to a single machine with a unique hardware ID.

One standard license allows you to run Oranges Calculator on one machine. So you need to purchase a license for each machine on which Oranges Calculator will be run and it doesn't matter what OS (Windows or Mac OS X) you have.

If you decide to transfer the license from Windows to Mac or vice versa, write to the support. I deactivate the current license and you can activate it on any other machine (Windows or Mac).

oRanges Calculator is Mac compatible.

It has implemented Drug & Drop functionality in Range Tree.
You can move, copy ranges and folders using the mouse.
Also it's possible to save the whole node to a file and restore it.
It can be useful when transferring to another computer.

It has two User Filters in statistics section which allow to intersect or combine default statistics. It can be useful to split some statistics into 2 parts (higher set and lower set, for example). Also it can be used when you decide to construct 2 sets of hands for different actions. Just place them in two User Filters and easily analyse both cases.

It has many built-in tools such as:
Range Constructor, Flop Texture Filters, Preflop All-in Helper,
Filter Manager, Range vs. Range, Fold Equity/EV calculator,
Range Combos Statistics, Pot-odds Calculator and much more...

Also I am going to add some new tools, including some tools from users request.

Could you move Next Card Equity and Range Equity Distribution options from Command to Tools section?

I'm thinking of buying - but I'm also going to be upgrading my computer in the coming months. Regarding the licence, do I read it right that I can't move my licence from one computer to another, and would have to buy another license?

Of course, you can move your license from one computer to another free of charge.
You should just drop a message to support. I will deactivate current license and you could activate the same license on new machine.

I heard that a few years ago there were some problems with share-it payments but I personally have never had any problem with them for years.

I am sorry but a the moment I can’t offer alternative ways for payments.

When using the range constructor the window stays on top of other windows. So like if I try to browser or hand replayer over it they just go under it. Just checked and it seems that all the other tools do the same thing.

Is this on my end or a setting somewhere?

At the moment all tool windows are so called always on top. There is no settings to change it. BTW When you press on tool icon again (below hand matrix), tool window can be closed.

I am going to release new update in a couple of days where all tool windows can be minimized. Hope it will solve your inconvenience.

PreAI tool is Preflop All-in Helper.
This tool is designed to calculate Equities of all hands against the selected ranges and determine EV Call and EV Push in the situations of call an opponent's push or possible opponent's call on your push.

I just dowloaded today after being so frustrated that I can't use Flopzilla on my Mac forever!

I have been playing around for a few hours. Great Software. Really well done guys. I think this may be even better than Flopzilla! I would have accepted even less given my Mac Preference.

what is difference between the two icons installed on desktop? One has TS at the end of it.

They are generally the same but were compiled with different Java compiler options.
OrangesCalculatorTS.exe is optimized for faster calculation but sometimes leads to problem with applications graphics. Also it reserves a bit more memory.

OrangesCalculator.exe is a bit slowly but balanced for both calculations and graphics.
You can check it out to select full matrix preflop in both executables.
TS is faster about 40% preflop but postflop it’s hard to see the difference.

If you haven’t any problem with graphics using TS, use it.
And use OrangesCalculator.exe if you have no desire to experiment. It’s universal.
