My FCBvsReg flop, turn and river stats dont work.
My mate told me that I should change my ColorDefinitions.xml file to this:
http://pastebin.com/LV4q103F but I have no Idea how to change the XML-file since its not just copy paste stuff. Everything else in my HUD works so I dont know, could I just change the FCB stats in the colordefinitions-xml or do I have to replace the XML-files and I have no idea how to turn this text to a XML-file.

I'm not sure where you got those vs reg stats but whoever provided them should have provided a colordefinitions.xml which you can import via tools->import->color definitions.

Given what you have there it is copy and paste stuff if you want it to be but that's very complicated if you're not familiar with XML files.

If I'm you here I ask my mate to send me the full colordefinitions.xml file he uses and when you import it that "reg" color definition will be included in your library

I recently started to do so more detailed player analyzes and I have started to question how useful the caddy scatter and the round diagram with bluffs / strong made hands are for us PLO players. I listen to the video in the flop hand range in NC I understand than NC needs to categories hands as a draw or made hand. That is not the case in PLO and even bluffs gets recognized as strong made hands (unless the completely missed the board).

The round diagram could be helpful for us PLO players if it instead of merging everything together as strong made hands printed: Set/Flush/Straight/2pair/1Pair/No pair.

How do NC categories PLO hands? If a hand contains a flush draw and a over pair what will that be categorized as?

It's just not possible to be entirely accurate with PLO because there are so many combinations and much of it is subjective anyways. Trying to be more accurate slows it down. I would say the scatter would be much more helpful for PLO than the pie because you can look at the hand history immediately in the scatter plot.

Adding a ton of items to the pie chart makes it unusable in the 2-3 seconds people expect to be able to digest the information. If you have more time then you can look more closely at the scatter graph

if i untick the [x] use caddyscatter - does nc stop making caddyscatter notes - or just wont show them?

eg: i turn it off now, turn it on again in 1 year - will i see the dots for hands played in the meantime?

I understand that PLO is harder to calculate by I still think the current system could be improved for PLO without redesign the whole product. I have not fully understand how Notecaddy categories hands but for PLO I think you often like to know what villain do with the following hand types:

No pair / 1 pair ( bottom or middle pair) / top pair / overpair / two pair / top two pair / Sets

for the drawing hands it is important to know if it is to the nuts:

Low flush draw / High flush draw / Nut Flush draw / Straight draws / nut straight draws

I am happy to help out if you are considering doing some PLO improvements and point out some areas where the current display of data causes problem for PLO players.

No there is no way to not save them

Yes there are people using it for hi/lo. It will combine the notes across PLO and hi/lo though unless you set filters for your definitions on the general tab not to do that.

any idea why there are only 2 instances but 4 in the detailed descirption? if i click on the replay button i only get shown 2 hands, not 4

After last update auto color code is not working well.

Removing specific notes doesn't seem to work most of the time when I click Proceed on pending actions.

if the number of instances is large, it won't appear in the notes popup.
If we have 50 instances it will show 75(50) but if the instances are 150 it will just show 75.
Any setting for that?

It can take a very long time given how data is stored. It has to load the data for every player then remove the item from the task. In many cases it's actually faster to just reset notes than to remove via pending task. Hopefully when NC moves away from using postgres that improves though.

That's standard behavior for stats in HM2's HUD. That's not something that is or can be controlled by NoteCaddy.

Wrong colors.

I have a bunch of custom Notecaddy stats. When analyzing my own game and that of other players, I'd like to be able to see these as part of a report. Is this possible? So far it seems like I can only see them in the HUD.

They're not available via the HM2 reports. However NC has its own reports http://wiki.assaultware.com/NoteCadd...-Analysis.ashx

Also if you're good with excel you can do file->synchronize->export to CSV
and of course tools->player notes to see for individual players

I made a few custom note definitions which worked perfectly. I recently changed SSDs and backup/restored my HEM, copied and moved note definitions over from old SSD. I ran notecaddy for ~1 day and it said it created all the notes for me but when I try to put the notes in my HUD or popup, they aren't showing up. They only show up as "-". Any ideas? thanks in advance!
