Re: NoteCaddy

Hi, i'm having trouble with a lot of notecaddy popups ive attached to different hud popups, like "cold call raise bn handrange". it starts showing only after like 10 showdowns occurred. Others show right away after like 1 or 2 showdown hands happened, like c/c flop or c/r flop

Any idea why? There's no minimum in the nc definition

Re: NoteCaddy

if you go to tools->player notes for a player for whom the note isn't showing in the popup, there is a "reason" column that would tell you why it wouldn't be appearing.

Re: NoteCaddy

hi, i have the AJ advantage package, a few questions:

* i have configued the NCA colour defs by replacing this colour defs file as per the video, however i am still getting some of the default badges showing up (eg. pairs of shoes, $ symbol, ect) amoungst the NCA badges - unsure why this is? when i go to select a badge for a colour def all the default badges are still listed in the dropdown menu, unsure if i can delete these or not?

*i noticed i had no scatter graphs after my first note making run, i went through the document and added all the hand ranges / scatters in the Notecaddy popups section of of HUD options, howeever some stuff seem to be very low in info, for example, a really agro opponent of mine i have a 12K sample on has only one instance of playing a draw agro oop - seems a little low imo, anyway of testing these out make sure they are correct?

Badges can come from note definitions or color definitions. See http://wiki.assaultware.com/NoteCadd...xpect_to_see_2 on how you can find and disable unwanted badges

The scatter graph doesn't get added to popups. It appears in the regular note popup if you have it enabled.

Here is a full tutorial for when what you're seeing is not what you expect to see http://wiki.assaultware.com/My-notes...t-them-to.ashx

Re: NoteCaddy

In NC when I go to Colour Code Pokerstars Notes based on Active Definitions it gives me a prompt asking if I would like to clear existing notes, it goes on to say that this stops old notes if they player doesn't apply for any new colour codes. I don't quite understand how this works...

Say I ran the colour coding on a large database with hands from the whole of this year and SretiCentV had a Red tag based on a specific NC definition. However I then realised that SretiCentV has changed his style and should now have an Orange tag, so I decided to use my smaller database from the last 2 months, to do the colour coding.

If I click 'No' to clearing notes...will NC update SretiCentV's tag from Red to Orange?

And secondly Pokerstars player SW_Kaizer had received a Yellow tag when I made the notes using the database from the whole of this year, however he hasn't played in the last 2 months. If I click 'No' to clearing the notes, will his Yellow tag remain?

regardless of what you click, the tag will switch from red to orange

if you click no, it remains. If you click yes it disappears and the kaiser is uncolored

Did you add the badge column to your notes definition listing via the column chooser as explained in the link I posted? If you did, did you see which note definitions are creating those badges? I am sure they're there

Re: NoteCaddy

Hi, I couldn´t find the answer to this anywhere so sorry if this has been posted before.

I am using the notecaddy basic with HEM2 and on ALL my villain it says LIMP/CALLS PREFLOP THEN FIT OR FOLD FLOP x/x 100 %, and when I look at the hands that are included in this it is most certainly not what they are doing (like all kinds of hand are included in this stat for some reason). Is this a known bug or could someone point me to somewhere it says how to fix this, couldn´t find an answer anywhere even though I googled the **** of it :P.

Thanks in advance.

Re: NoteCaddy

is there a way to see how many notecaddy notes a particular definition in my definitions list has created? Like a column or something, so I can sort the nc defs by 'amount of notes'?

Thanks

you're saying every villain has that badge or for every villain that does have it the % is 100? When you open the replayer with those hands are you seeing red squares or just green? The red ones are where the player limp/called but then didn't fold to a flop bet. This would make if people's % aren't 100 though

Notecaddy has created a note for almost every single villain I´ve ever played which says that Limp/call then fit or fold is 100 % with like 1000/1000 hands. In the replayer the circle around the player is red which as you say implies that they didn´t perform this actio (i mean some hands are of them folding pre and some are some other action etc.) but still the note says 100 % for all villains which is kind of confusing.

If I remember correctly there was an issue with that definition right when it was added but it was fixed pretty quickly. That said, if you installed hm2 in those days then you'd still see the issue. What you can do is to clear you note definitions http://wiki.assaultware.com/Resettin...-settings.ashx and then restart hm2 and it will regenerate your data with the latest definitions

Is it even possible to have last xxx hands statistic for every definition? Theoretical question.

Anything is possible but feasible is the real question. An example might be needed since I am not good at explaining things sometimes

Someone has 1000 hands total with 100 opportunities to cbet. The did cbet 70 times (cbet % 70)
To see the cbet % over the last 500 hands would be too taxing on peoples' disks to be feasible. This is because we'd need to pull up a list of all players' hand ID's. HM2 doesn't store that in the database but rather in some files that are not intended for third party access. Of course it's still doable but reading that file for every player just to get one number per hand would slow things down way too much.

If you want to see what % they cbet over the last 50 opportunities (remember he had 100 total) then that's actually very doable. The problem is that NC doesn't tie the quantitative data (ranges) to the instance/opportunities so then your graphs would still show the full data and would look buggy. Tying ranges to exact hands would increase the amount of storage nc uses. Since it's already an issue now, the two downsides are not made up for by the upside of having this additional filter.

Re: NoteCaddy

Sreti, not sure if this is a question for you or the Notecaddy Advantage guys.

I updated to the new Advantage package a couple of days ago and everything was fine with new badgs appearing etc. On today's session, there are hardly andy badges appearing at all, including for the regs who had them a couple of days ago. Any idea what the problem would be?

I've also just noticed that there are stats I have in my popups that aren't correct. 'Was 3bet by Hero' is showing blank for everyone (it used to work fine). When I go into Notecaddy it shows 3302 instances for that stat so the info is there

Thanks

Re: NoteCaddy

Are you playing rush or zoom?

There is a recently discovered issue where HM2 sometimes isn't requesting the data from NC with the proper parameters when playing rush/zoom. HEM has been made aware of this and has pledged to give the matter some priority.

Thank you! I added the total instances and opportunity columns, but for some definitions (a small amount) I get -1 for both columns. What does this mean?

Some of the definitions that show -1 are HM's own nc defs.

Re: NoteCaddy

also, having read some of the threads on HM2 + NC performance, need some upgrade advice for increasing definition creation speed, overall performance in checking my HM2 database etc. I have a large db and lots of notecaddy defs.

Currently have an i5 2500k overclocked to 4.2GHz, with 16gb 1333MHz ram, Windows 7 64-bit (128GB Crucial M4 SATA 3 SSD), with HM2 database installed on a seperate SSD (256GB Crucial M4 SATA 3).

What would be the best upgrade options - i7 4770K, 32gb ram, or another 256GB SSD and raid 0 them?

it means there's no data for it. It is usually composite definitions that show the -1 or notes that weren't applicable to any of your hands
