UTILITY NoteCaddy - Page 53 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Seems my NC isnt working all the sudden. I seemed to happen after the new HM2 update. is anyone else having this problem? I get the caddyreport to open when my tables start, but I get no badges or any NC stats.

Their newest release was pretty significant so I suggest auto updating to NC 2.4.10.1. Also make sure your file->filters aren't preventing new hands via a date filter. Also make sure that the "creating notes" panel is open in NC or click to open it on the start panel.

Winning a hand is not an action so I can't check "Define opportunities by action"

I am not having any problems with NC notes and badges showing using 7779 and 2.4.10.1 (along with NCE Ultimate package) but I did encounter a problem with the caddyreport only showing 1 of the hole cards on WPN. It started working properly once I opened a Cake table.

Thanks guys. I see the problem and it will be fixed for the next NC release. It won't break anything other than the Caddy Report though so I won't rush a release for it

Sreti,

Pllaying Zoom and using your "Preload all player notes" feature.

Is it ok these days to include NC stats directly in the HUD or does that likely cause performance problems?

Yes. Just use the compiled stat for VPIP. For example if you want to make 2 colors green for < 500 hands, red for >= 500 hands you make the following

color definition: 0-100 vpip, red color, min sample 500 priority 1
color definition: 0-100 vpip, green color min sample 0 priority 0

The priorities are since the guy with 500 hands qualifies for both colors you give them higher priorities for higher number of hands to ensure he gets the red color

This sounds like the best way to do it would be just to use HM2's auto rate

hi
i have a problem with notecaddy, i cant see the auto-notes in my hud.
previously i coul not see the sparkle graph either but i deleted the config file as seen on the website and now i see the sparkle graph but no notes
what should i do?

when i put the mouse above the note icon, i dont have the automatic notes under the sparkle graph saying thing like
3bet strong AA,KK etc and i dont have the graphs associated with some of them
showing think like "raise flop only strong" with the graph caddyspark
basicaly i cant see the notecaddy automatic notes in popups

If you go to NC and go to tools->player notes and type the name of a player with a lot of hands in your database, do you see data there?

It sounds to me like you're using a coaching pack. NCA/NCE etc. They purposely do not put notes with the main note icon. The idea is to have you look at the popups for specialized data rather than looking at a massive list of notes that you couldn't possibly read in the 2 seconds you have to make a decision

They definitely do as Sreti suggested. You have to right-click > modify each definition and enable the HUD Options > [x] 'Show in the notes popup' if I recall correctly.

Hi J_RAMONES,

We don't remove the definitions that come with NoteCaddy from there.. But if you deleted all of your definitions and then imported the package then the default NoteCaddy definitions wouldn't be there anymore.

None of the NoteCaddy Edge definitions show there intentionally as they're used in the Popups and as Badges.

You can get the default definitions back by making all of the active Note Definitions inactive and then deleting your Note Definitions from the inactive tab and restarting HM2. Then you can import your NoteCaddy Edge package again, and then reset / recreate your notes.
