I'm still getting the hand. Nothing in the bar. The "process" is running, but the program isn't.

I sent the file to the email address. I did change the configuration from the default. Is there a way to get the default configuration back without deleting all of my notes that I've created?

I just backed up my old stuff and redownloaded the program. I have the default color coded notes now and I ran it, but none of my players had any colors added to them. Do I need the colors in pokerstars to match with the colors in notecaddy? Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Auto note coloring doesn't work for me ... I am pretty sure that I did everything correct and after few minutes I get: players processed: 0

Any ideas?

Anyway I made it work however it gave pretty much everyone the same color ( orange ) even though I didn't even want orange to be there...

I only need it to mark fish with green. How do I disable all other ?

What did you do to get it working? I need this to be as user friendly as possible

I just released version 0.213 which allows you to delete color definitions so that's what you need

How I solved first problem: I play just FR so at start I only checked FR at filters that I wanted to use... however it didn't work. Then I selected HU/SH and somehow it started working

Anyway there is one more thing that I don't completely understand for example when I am setting filter for "fish" I only need NoteCaddy to look at VPIP and ignore everything else - it is kinda stupid question but, will setting sample size for stat that I don't need to something like 999999 solve that ? Or does 0 mean that NoteCaddy ignore that stat?

edit: I downloaded new patch and after that I can't make it work again :/ program just doesn't respond so I have to kill it. edit2: lol very wired I changed hands date at settings and now it's working again

yeah, you set it to zero. I just added a video to the downloads page that will tell you all about color coding.

What dates did it put in by default? How many hands in your db?

I am sure that problem is related to date... because I have VERY big database I wanted NoteCaddy to only use hands from last two days. Whenever I do that program stop responding.

But if I choose date from like 01.01.2000 to 01.01.2020 it works

The program runs, it finds the HEM database (the only DB I have), the tens of thousands of players in my DB, made notes (apparently) on thousands of them, crashed at no point and seemingly completed without any issues. I haven't seen a single note. Not ingame on the HEM HUD when running Stars and not in HEM in any of the player reports.

When it was done it continued to show popups in my tray indicating that it made notes on people. This is annoying btw. But still no notes. I shut everything down and started it all up again. Nada.

Upon restarting I hit start and get "all hands processed. notes added 0". Perhaps that's fine after running through 75K players and no new ones at my tables, but that's what it says. No popups now either.

I LOVE the idea of this software. I look forward to its retail release.

I highly recommend that you folks come up with a quick step by step for dummies 10 line explanation on how to set it up properly. The teaser video is a good promo thing but really, you took down a 10 minute video that can tell me more specifically what this software does?

Documentation. So important. This software doesn't need War and Peace for documentation. All of my software engineer buddies are the same way lol. I probably only need a sentence or two to fix my problem but trust me, 10,000 people will download this software, not be able to figure it out in 60 seconds and throw in the towel. Just my 2 cents.

Will it be possible to run the color coding feature while you are playing to update colors on people at your tables?

Thank you for your feedback. You can disable the popups in settings. They definitely are annoying though if you're not playing a live session. You're right about the gap in basic instructions now. I will remedy that today. What's weird is nobody else has reported the error about no notes showing up. Did you check in the hem hand replayer to see if something appeared there? I need to think about how to further address this.

Can you turn on logging and email me your error log?

I looked at your notes file and it seems NoteCaddy did not add any notes at all. Could you enable logging, run the color coding process again, and email me the log file so I can see what went wrong?

So hopefully the problems at startup will become less mysterious

I just checked the hand replayer and when I pull those tables up I see icons on about a third of the players. None of those note icons have actual notes with them unless they were notes that I made myself. But in no other way can I see those icons. Not in the hud and not by right-clicking on a player in the Players section and selecting "view notes on this player".

Are there actually blank notes? If so, did you change note definitions? Can you clear your notes, set up logging in settings, run the process against your database, and send me the log file? It will log exactly what is being written so I will be able to tell what happened.

The last update seems to proceed to a step called "Getting amount of unprocessed hands" and stops.
