As far as it slowing your computer, you can go to file->settings->database settings and remove "use multi threading" and it will process slower but not bog your computer down much.
As far as the multi notes, are you using 2.0.0.6? Are you just clicking the "create notes" button or are you doing something more complex? If so, please describe in as much detail as possible what you're doing so I can replicate it. There was a momentary issue with the 1.09 branch but that was solved very quickly so you should no longer be impacted.

I did this and it seems to be capturing more notes. It has been running for about 12 hours now and is less than half way finished, I have about 3 million hands so probably nothing to be concerned about.
I noticed that there was not an option for Limit holdem, but I assume most of the definitions will work for Limit? I made inactive all of the definitions that seemed only to relate to NL, would there be any adjustments that I need to make to the canned definitions so they would apply to limit?
The thing about limit is that as far as notecaddy is concerned, it is just no limit with very specific bet sizes. So pre flop and flop are "min bets/raises" and the turn and river are "small bet/min bet small raises". So to actually answer your question, basically all default notes ignore bet sizes. The exceptions being the infamous "overbet river strong" definitions that caused me much anguish since they proved to be useless.
