Sounds great!

Did you check "Add notes for hero" after you processed your hands or before?

Also, I strongly recommend being very careful with that as you will likely end up with a prohibitively large amount of notes on yourself.

edit: what site are you playing on? There was a bug relating to iPoker about this functionality

microgaming.

Noticed another 'bug'

'PF) folds to 3bet from blinds 12/12'

this note will say that this player folded everytime in this spot. (at least thats what this note implies to me)
But i looked at 10+ players and every one was 100% eg. 4/4 or 5/5.

I think you need to change this. Its as though the note is saying 'PF folded 12 times to a blind re-raise' This isn't very helpfull.
Instead it should say, 'out of 30 blind re-raises this player folded 12' or what ever.

If you do "seek" from the scripting screen, does it also say 100% success rate? I tested this definition with hands from micro gaming and it seemed to work at least in the seek function

Hi.

This looks like a very interesting program. I tested it and I have a question:

Can I set up the program to only show notes for pre-flop / flop? (I play shallow so turn and river don't really matter)

Thanks

You just need to set all the definitions that address post flop situations to inactive and when it prompts you to remove the notes, click yes

Sreti,

When you export the notes to the Stars file using the synchronize function, the percentages do not show up.

There are still some opportunities to make the software more user friendly and that is among the top priorities currently. However, if you want to gauge how well you'll understand NoteCaddy, I suggest watching 1 or 2 of the youtube videos and seeing if it makes sense to you

Sorry if this has been asked before. But I am new to notecaddy. I have had to reformat my computer multiple times and usually save my note files. But unfortunately forget to transfer them over after the reformat. So I have like 3-4 note files on my computer from fulltilt. Can I use the Note Color Coding window to process each one of these files into HM? And will this in return merge all my notes after I run Note Caddy from the main window?

This is definitely a unique situation. I think what you'd have to do is to set file 1 to be the full tilt note file in color coding. Then run a synchronization so they get moved into hem. Repeat this process for each of your files

The only thing is that if you don't have hands for a player in your hem then the notes won't get saved for that player. Therefore you should try to import any hands you can into hem first

I actually have all hands that I have played in HM. I always make sure I import all my hands. I just fail to remember to transfer my note file.

i just downloaded this last night and am figureing everything out now,i got the notes part done and am doing the color coding now before i try a session out,i read the manual and think i understand, my question is do i leave this running during my sessions or is it somethin i do after the session or like every few days?

I recommend leaving it running during sessions so that you get notes added right as the hands get played. Just make sure you have clicked the start button so it knows to poll for new hands.

Also, if you have any usability recommendations, I would love to hear them.

Thank you for trying NoteCaddy

It is color coding for everyone but just for hands played during the specified dates. Originally it was only grabbing players who played hands during the specified dates but that was causing big problems for people with billion hand databases. Since the aforementioned demographic makes up a large part of my customer base, I had to do what I could to accommodate them.

You need to go into your PT3 hud settings and add the notes back to your hud.

Running as admin is likely not your problem. For the color coding you may be picking the wrong file

ok gonna do that now in my hud and i will look at the color coding again later thx again

hello,

i just installed the trial, and played 2 tournaments in PS. The notes are ok, but all players are colored as "ROCK" (yellow), even if "FISH" or something else suits it better.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

If you run color coding with logging enabled (file->settings->enable logging), the log file will give you a detailed rundown of why it assigned colors to each person. Just search for a name that you think has the wrong color in the log text file that will be generated in your c:\program files (x86)\NoteCaddy directory.

This may be beyond the NC scope, but I'd like to completely erase all of my notes from my HEM db as well as from Full Tilt. Erasing FTP note file is easy, but is there a way to delete the player notes (not just the ones NC made, but all of them) using the Synchronize feature in NC? Thanks.

You can't do it using NoteCaddy but if you do start->all programs->postgres 8.x->pgAdmin...

click the + by your server, enter password, click the + by your db...

click the "sql" button on the top - the one next to the recycling bin

in the top left of the window that appears type the following

truncate table hemplayernotes

then click the green play button

all your HEM notes will be PERMANENTLY DELETED
