Small request: please add a new tag for shortened pfposition. Customizable would be great (so i can have my LJ/HJ/CO/BTN/SB/BB) but just adding the HEM standards (EP/MP/CO/BTN/SB/BB) would be fine.

Not only for pf position but customizable abbreviations for a lot of other stuff like hand values(TPTK, fldr, ect.) would be great.

NC is great.
The only big issue I can see right now(after you learned how to create your definitions) is the amount of space the notes take on the monitor(esp. at Laptops).
One solution for this problem would be(besides my idea with the tabs for ther different groupings, see above) is to have something like $cardrange for $flopboard, $flophand,...

Examples:
Donk fold on 984tt, AK7m, 883r
Xraise F with TPMK on KQ9, Flushdraw on A84tt, Nothing on TT5r

Right now its an extra line for every different flop, flophand, ect. which makes the notes window huge.

This is one of those things that since I am not currently playing, I don't really notice it so it's good that I get alerted to it. There are some big risks of problems if I try to do enumerations for too many things so I need to proceed with extreme caution.

Right now you have a tag (i think notecaddy uses the term variable) that is $pfposition. I would like a similar one calling, say, $pfpositionsmall, that does the same but instead of putting in text like "MiddlePosition", it puts in "MP".

Notecaddy is great, in fact so great that i'm finding it hard making the size of the note popup manageable (as a side note, if one play has a huge number of notes for a certain player, it will crash the HUD when you mouse over the note icon!).

I'm not trying to cut down the definitions i have. But there's a few ways in note caddy that will help in reducing the size of the notes generated.

Another (more complex) form of reducing the size of the note is compressing multiple lines in to one. For example, a definition like:

Checks back $flopboard

will kick out definitions like:

Checks back K42 flop
Checks back JJ3 flop
Checks back A72 flop
(etc etc)

It would be nice to have an option that compresses this to one line:

Checks back K42, JJ3, A72 flop

Yeah you're definitely right hood. These improvements will happen for 1.09. However, I need to make sure 1.08 beta is ok before that gets pushed out to all users. Also, I am working hard on finishing up my next software beta which imo is going to be way better than NoteCaddy. So the next big patch likely won't be until early next month. These suggestions will be implemented though because it's obvious that they would improve the software considerably

completely different. Beta is scheduled for 10/24 currently. I am very anxious to see if people will like it as much as I do

I was just about to setup an entire system for my notecaddy from the beginning, with new colours and all.. but now I think I will just wait until the new release?

another feature request: I find I am using notecaddy more and more like a HUD supplement for things that HEM just can't handle (say, "got to river when limped preflop"). For that reason it would be good to have the optional to show the occurrence percentage instead of the occurrence 'fraction' we have now.

So right now I might have:

[R] Got to river when limped preflop (14/33)

but it would be nice to be able to have:

[R] Got to river when limped preflop 42% (33)

So you have the %, and then the # of occurrence in brackets. Because doing fractions at the table is hard

This has been requested before and I said no because it would be difficult for me haha. But since I am going to be redoing the variables to basically all be enumerations, I imagine I can take care of it. 1.09 won't be until at least 11/7 though

Something seems to be wrong with your website and I can't get NoteCaddy to start.

My host died today but I have already moved it over to another host but some DNS servers may not have refreshed yet since notecaddy.com works for me already but I guess not for you. I am pretty sure the problems from the last week or so were caused by my hosting dying a slow death.

Hopefully the new hosting will be much more reliable.
