2. After doing an update via Quck Notes an option to see the created notes would be nice so you can see if the new created definitions worked out.

Thanks!

These seem like good ideas but they go against my new policy of "less is more". More specifically, I am trying to make NoteCaddy more accessible and a common complaint that I get is "there's too many damn check boxes".

You can almost accomplish #1 by setting a low success rate

For #2 I suggest using the seek function on the scripting screen before doing a quick notes. This will allow you to look at what type of notes would be generated before they're generated. Once the notes are created, you're kind of stuck with them for now. I am not sure if you've seen the "note history" window. Using that, you can see which notes were created based on which hands.

I won't rule #1 out completely but please understand that my priority right now is to make a program that can be enjoyed by everyone

Is it possible to script for situations where villain doesnt put any more money into the pot on ANY street.

flop is easy i check "player put no money on the flop". But im concerned that if i also check the turn and river equivalents, then if villain check folds the flop then doing this this will stop the hand from counting (when i want it to count!).

hope that makes sense.

I recommend trying "player played (street) passively. You can find it on flop/t/r->general. I also recommend running any definitions through seek to see if they're producing what you expect them to

I understand.
Thanks for the note history tip I didnt see it before.
V useful.

Dont know if this is a bug or I did something wrong:
I defined a range of hands as being a "light"(i.e. "Steals light ftom button with $cardrange") and chose "define opportunities by range" because I wanted to compare the "light" steals to the "normal"/"strong" ones respectivly his total steals.
But in the end all those stats read "2/2", "3/3", "10/10".

When you do seek, does it come up with all success or are there any that say "opportunity"?

Only success not one opportunity.
But there should be a lot of opportunities in my example("Steals light ftom button with $cardrange": All the times when people stealed with a "normal range).

I'd like to use this on the entraction network. I thought all sites that are compatible with HEM would be able to use the program, but looks like entraction isnt supported. I use pointpoker fwiw.

Looks like a pretty awesome prog, shame I can't use :-( Any plans to integrate?

Notecaddy does its own parsing so it's not necessarily compatible with whatever hem supports. If you send some cash and tournament hands to support@notecaddy.com, then I can add support for entraction

1000 hands of cash and 1000 tournament/sng should do the trick

An export should work. Please direct additional inquiries to support@notecaddy.com

It's not fair to other authors to have my thread bumped to the top unless there is something new

Great software, but unfortunately it doesn`t support Everest-handhistories. Will you add this site in the future? Or is there another way how I could manage to convert the handhistories in a format that your program can work with?

I will add Everest support. Please send cash and tournament histories to support@notecaddy.com. I don't know when I can get it though as my calendar is completely full for the next 2 weeks

Just a thought on the $cardrange:

The bad hands carry more information than the good hands. People with lots of hands generate huge lines of hands, sometime rendering the entire note box unreadable. Maybe you could have an option to make $handrange sort from lest profitable to most profitable, and cut off at some designated number of hands, for instance 10. This would show the bottom end of "profitable" observed ranges which is much informative than the fact that they 3 bet with aces.

You can remove the obvious hands from ranges. I explain how to do it in part two of the intro video series at http://www.youtube.com/user/AssaultWare

I can't find the feature regarding showing hands where the note was taken... where I have to click?

tools->note history. You have to have "save a record of hands for each note taken" selected in file->settings

Ah great, saw it now.
Although this is awesome it doesn't resolve an issue, checking that notes are taken correctly.
If we do something wrong there is no clue to checking...
Now you can see players' note along with his hh, but what about if we set wrong the script and the note was written for other players ?

I see where you're going with this and you're not the only one who wants this. 1.08 is going to let you remove a definition's output from the existing notes.
