Any idea?
The first hand you were dealt "2c Dd" which I'm guessing is for dieci of diamonds which is something NoteCaddy is not ready for...

The second hand worked when I pasted it into my test environment so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Could you copy paste the whole error log and email it to me: support@notecaddy.com and I will see what I can do

NoteCaddy dosent recognise FT HH's from HEM.

It does recognise HH from PT3 (HEM uses a slightly different format)

Thanks
Instead of right clicking and doing "view hand" then copy pasting from there, right click and hit "copy hands to clipboard". Adding support for the proprietary HEM hand histories is very low priority for me now but it will probably happen at some point

Just tried that.. works fine so its not really an issue as there is such a simple workaround. Thanks

in 30k hands I get like 5k errors is that normal ?
NoteCaddy Quote

There's not really a defined normal yet. It depends on what rooms you play on. I would be happy to review your error log if you send it to me.

Same goes or everyone. support@notecaddy.com

yea have pre flop notes before post and have a space or bar separating the 2 and maybe a position indicator next to the hu 6m 9m.

example (1 6m EP) so that would mean 1 note/read from 6 max early position.

Ok I'll see what I can do. No promise on a time line though

Will this fix existing problems, or do I need to delete my notes and start over?

I'm afraid you have to start over

Your notes are scattered among the databases that hold the hands that produced them. PT3 does a great thing by combining everything but if your notes before Saturday evening, then they won't be compressed.

No sweat - I'm not going to get carpal tunnel from a few mouse clicks!

if i leave notecaddy running, then stop and restart the note conversion - does note caddy pick up from where it was stopped or does it go through the whole db again?

It will continue from where it left off. Once you finish your DB you should always run NoteCaddy (with notify popup) while playing so you get live updated notes.

One observation is that live notes do not appear instantly in the DB. there may be a gap of several minutes between the popup and the note being added in the DB.

This isn't a problem, I just point it out because when you first use note-caddy you may see a popup and look at the notes just to check its all working correctly. When the note dosent appear, you may jump to the conclusion that something is wrong.

The note will appear but it takes a few minutes.

When you say it's not in the database yet, are you looking at the database tables directly or at the hud?

It does take time for the hud to update but you do make a good point. When I was testing I got worried a few times when the notes didn't show up right away

How much memory do you have? What kind of hard drive? You have more than 15 million hands? Wow.

Go to help->about NoteCaddy and copy paste the number in the box under where it says 2010 and email it to support@notecaddy.com. I'll add a few days to your trial to make sure you have enough time to try it out properly.

Date filters are going to get improvement this weekend so that may make it more convenient for you.

I get the following error when I try it

Error: Input string was not in a correct format.
Line: xxxxxkthbbknight0536xxxx posts the small blind of $0.10

Same thing if I take the original HH from the file and paste it into the Test Environment
