very nice update....love the number of potential times feature. I added a manual note....and now the same exact note is showing four times.

Also on some of my notes the number of potential times is not showing. For example I have a note for number of times player limps strong and i would think that the number of potential times would be how often the player open limps.

I will try to reproduce the situation with the manual note showing repeatedly. As far as it not showing the possibilities, by default I disabled that for pre-flop definitions otherwise you'd be seeing "limps strong (1/200) because the way the opportunities work like this:

If everything is correct except for the action they actually committed then it's an opportunity.

so for limps strong you'd get an opportunity for every time they raise strong - which nobody would want. I can consider the ramifications of changing the logic for pre-flop opportunities to mean that everything was ok except their actual cards

Yes, I would think that would make sense to change the logic, for PF. As I said in my example....would like to see the number of possibilities be the number of times they open limp. I guess to make the number be meaningful, you would have to narrow to WTSD hands only. I defined open limp strong as JJ+ and Ak+

Sorry if you've answered this before but are you using hem or pt3? If you're using hem, I think the problem with multi-notes should be fixed.

I haven't switched out the pre-flop logic for opporunities yet but I am thinking Friday for that.

I will be clarifying this on the web site very soon. You can use NoteCaddy on any computer you own. Using a NoteCaddy license on two different IPs (so a different network) at the same time = new key by email automatically and the existing one gets cancelled.

Having a problem with my HEM hud not showing stats. Stats disappeared on some tables after I started using notecaddy. After I reset notes hud seems to be working fine again.

I reset all notes in HEM, after pressing "Start" button, i get following error:
Quote:
Error: 22007: invalid input syntax for type timestamp: "янв-01-2000 0:00"
If you are experiencing timeouts, try going to settings and making your buffer smaller.
If I choose "Do not use filters" everything works fine

+1. I don't exactly get why I'd want a filter anyway, but I've had to use it and just let the date range cover an impossible amount of time.

Ok you're the second person with this problem now. Could you have notecaddy create some notes and then enable logging for your hem hud - look towards the bottom of this document for details:

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...Holdem+Manager

Once you start having problems with your hud, I would like to look at the log if possible.

From the error you posted I can see exactly what the problem is so thank you for that. Sorry that you had the problem but it's so hard for me to test those foreign language scenarios

sorry to spam posts. I wanted to pm but it seems your account is too new.

I just did a patch that is trying to force the date to be generated in English. Could you please try and let me know. Otherwise I am going to get Windows 7 ultimate that will let me put my computer in other languages which could be a big help

Is this a new issue or has it always happened?
What's the error that it gives you? Something about application corruption?
Must be some kind of registry issue. I'll look into this asap

It's been happening awhile. I only update my notes every couple of days or so. It doesn't do anything really - just sits there at the loading screen until I enter it.

This is before it does it's auto-download thing.

The patch auto downloads when you start NoteCaddy so just restart it and it will apply

After last update NoteCaddy load CPU even if there is no hand to process.
This is a permanent load about 15-45%.
Is it normal behaviour?

I'll work on optimizing this over the weekend. For me it's 1-14% for some reason but I can see some logic that might make it higher for other computers. Once you've gone through your whole db, try making it single threaded (File->Settings) for now

also:

Version 1.05
----------------------------------------------------------------------
-Added highlighting for HEM which will give the note icon a red background in the hud for increased visibility
-Fixed "export to text file" order to appear as it does in your hud
-Added "put no money" option for flop, turn, river scripting. This can be used to say that a player check or check/folded without a fold being required.
-Added "post out of turn" option for pre-flop
-Added "Auto group notes by game size" that will add the game size to the beginning of the note and sort it that way.
-Enhanced color coding by adding a field where color codes can be applied to a group of players that you enter.
-Added the ability to not use a color coding definition for color coding. The purpose of this is to use it just for note definitions.
-Added a priority field to color coding so that if a player meets more than one set of criteria, you can decide which is most important
-Added "inactive notes" tab so notes can be disabled and re-enabled more easily.
-Added "required percentage" to note definitions. You can now take notes that judge frequencies (e.g. too much, not enough)
-Added the ability to specify your own range for a player's stack in big blinds.
-Fixed a large number of small issues.

Make backup in HEM via Options - Notes- Export Notes
and in NoteCaddy delete them via Files-> Reset Notes
