When are these updates happening. Kinda liked it and snap bought it and now see the iOS version hasn't been updated at all. For it to be worth the price I Paid I need session tracking and ability to save people's name. Kinda regretting my purchase right now. Eta?

ETA one month for saving, 3-bet, and additional stats. What do you mean by "session tracking?"

profits and losses per session. so i go to the cardroom do my thing with the program and at the end i enter in whether i won or lost and how much and it can keep track of hours played with profit and loss etc

I also have doubts about the useful of this thing.

Everybody knows the useless of a tracker with a merely hundred of hands recorded.
What does it means a guy with a high % before the flop raise ? is he loose or having a streak ?

For people who doesn't know how to play, you probably don't need such a thing.

So the point is, you don't need to figure out exactly what his percent of raise is, if you can't have a huge number of hands and a way to identify people. And maybe this could keep you distracted from picking up tells, or other important things.

but the app is still imaginative and I like it.

Stats tend to stop changing/normalize after about 75 hands, and you usually get a very good idea of everyone's play-style after about 25 hands. You'll be surprised how quickly the stats become meaningful.

It's listed under Donkey Tracker in the marketplace.

I still don't see it. This is what I see:

that's weird - the link you posted shows it as the first result for me. I click it and it takes me here https://market.android.com/details?i...Xl0cmFja2VyIl0.

How long does an Android battery typically last? With an iPhone, an eight-hour session is no problem using Donkey Tracker the whole time.
12-07-2011 , 05:31 PM
Maybe 3-4 hours, less if 3g or wifi use in between.

Battery on my iPhone 3GS is shocking. I guess I have had it for 30 months though.

Wow, that seems absolutely unacceptable. I guess Droid users will need backup batteries if they plan to play an eight hour session. Geez.

I would say that estimate is if the phone is in constant use. If its not nonstop, probably more. 3-4 is lower estimate thinking back now.

trust me to lose my antroid phone

nice app..thanks
if somebody opens from let's say EP, two callers and somebody 3B---I have to put in raise, call, call, raise....right? Would maybe be nice to get a 3B stat as well (even you're gonna use it like once an evening with that live donks

Verneer proved that it takes thousands of hands for stats to become meaningful. Remembering someone limp/calling Q9o UTG is going to be way more useful than hundreds of hands preflop numbers.

The few times I've played 200NL I've seen a couple weirdos constantly typing away at programs like these.
a.) It's 200NL, everyone is terrible
b.)People who use these apps tend to be nits anyway. "Well, this guy's VPIP is 62, I guess I can isolate him with AQo now."

Do you think Phil Galfond would benefit from using this while playing HSP?
This app won't help any player who is anywhere near competent.

The only people who might benefit from this app are the anti-social TAG-fish.

Above all, weak players tend to avidly despise devices like this being used at the table.

Yep, that's the correct way to enter the hand -- only the first action a player makes pre-flop is entered.

3-Bet stats will be in the next update.

Redarator, you have a lot to say about HUDs for someone who has been playing online poker for less than a year. Perhaps when you move above 25NL you'll find some value in using a HUD, even for single-table play. Losing players come in many flavors, and keeping mental notes on eight other people is more difficult than it seems.

Verneer's opinion, as elucidated in one of his Cardrunners videos, is that it takes 100-200 hands for full-ring PFR and VPIP to converge (less if the game is short handed.) My opinion is that it takes about 75. To each his own.

It's easily possible to socialize and track at the same time. It takes three seconds to enter a hand, and I can easily keep a conversation going and enter every hand. I doubt that you've seen others using a live HUD; it isn't very popular yet. They were likely checking sports scores or Facebook.

Great idea for an app, I will be buying this on Android Market as soon as 3bet stats are introduced. I play midstakes LHE and pf 3!'s are very frequent. Somebody please bump this thread when it gets updated.

Maybe also a stat for cold calling? there is a difference between limping after 5 other limpers and cold calling a raise.
