NEW SOFTWARE: HUD for Live Cash Games NEW SOFTWARE: HUD for Live Cash Games

I have developed an app called "Donkey Tracker" that will create a simple HUD for use at live poker tables. It will display VPIP, PFR and a hand count, so you'll be able to see the basic stats for each player at the table using about three button clicks per hand.

Updates will include graphing and additional tracking for aggression factor, 3-bet, 4-bet, and squeezing stats, bankroll/session tracking, c-bet, ck raise %, donk lead, aggression by street, etc. The Android version is in development and should be released soon.

I'd like to hear suggestions for improvements and suggestions for a proper price. I want it to be priced to keep people who don't understand its purpose away from it, but accurately reflect its value to those who understand it.

When I read the thread title I thought it was a joke. So I look in here and my first thought is "genius"

However, it seems to me that even if the casino allows it, it seems like the kind of thing that might get you followed out into the parking lot and stabbed if you win too much from the wrong person

Nice idea.

First thing that pops in my mind is:

1) There needs to be a quick reset button so to speak when someone new sits instead of the former guy. With confirmation for reset, imho

2) Adding names or comments for futura "Insert to seat" function(that would be added ) would be very handy.

Hehe, yeah was thinking the same! Great idea though if it's allowed!

Seems like it would be incredibly tedious to constantly enter in everyone's actions. I do think it would be an very valid way to get a better grasp on a single player's range who's giving you trouble.

Sample sizes are so small live, though. I'm not sure how useful it would be.

LOL, this has potential. Any chance someone could make an app like this for Droid?

this + as online players, we become used to drawing certain conclusions about the 32/5 player versus the 23/17 player. This seems like a great tool to help you transition or at least not to feel like a fish out of water.

When I played live I would get bored and start talking or just stare off into space when I wasn't in the hand. Having to watch every move every player makes is a great reason to actually pay attention.

That said I can just imagine getting berated all night by old ladies and drunk construction workers if you use this

No one notices because 80% of the table has a smart phone out and plays with it between hands intermittently. They assume you are checking sports scores or having a text convo.

New players can be quickly removed or moved to a new seat. To move a player, drag and drop. To delete go to the edit menu and hit the delete button next to his name.

I've had pleasant conversations about the app at a couple of tables so far. No berating, just interested conversation. People who have used HUDs online are interested and people who have not don't seem to care.
