I have just released version 3.05.02, which adds the new "Auto buy-in and sit out" feature on PokerStars, as well as some minor bugfixes.


The feature had been requested by many users in the past and will be rolled out for multiple clients in the coming weeks.

Hi purplecard. 888 has taken measures against seating scripts lately, even when you were not using a seater on their site. There is no undercover functionality at the moment, but this is one of the reasons why it's at the top of the roadmap for future NEED4SEAT updates. You can add me on skype if you have further questions and/or suggestions.

Networks do not detect/look for a specific cash seater they detect it based on your seating characteristics. So there is no "under cover".

I dont get it. I just downloaded and ran it. clicked the start button (while running stars) but nothing happened. At the bottom it always showed me:

scanning 0 Playing 0

even when I was playing a table


I also cant find a menu or something to put in at what tables I want to be seated

I have released a new "Getting Started" guide, that steps you through the process of setting up NEED4SEAT for the first time.

It's been more than three years now that the first version of NEED4SEAT has been released. Good table-selection can give you a huge edge in online poker, but doing it manually is also one of the most annoying things about the game. Therefore it has always been the goal to make it as easy as possible for you to get the most profitable seats next to recreational players.

The last couple of weeks I have worked on a new major update and today I am happy to announce that NEED4SEAT version 4.00 has been released. The most obvious change that comes with the update is the completely new user interface, that is more intuitive to use for new users and works better on high-resolution displays. Crucial for a good seating script is the performance, though, which is why I have put a lot of effort into improving that as well.

This is not the end of course and a lot more updates and features are planned for the future. I am also happy to hear your feedback and suggestions on how to make automated table-selection even better.

There has been a lot of feedback for the new NEED4SEAT update. I have already tried to implement a few of the suggestions.

Some people experienced a high load on the CPU with the new version. This should now be drastically reduced and the CPU usage should be be to normal.
In order to make the first steps with NEED4SEAT a little bit easier, there is an interactive tutorial now, that comes up when you start NEED4SEAT and you haven't configured any clients, yet.

Additionally I have made some minor bugfixes and updated the betfair table theme.

It's been a little over two weeks now that NEED4SEAT version 4.00 has been released. Most of the changes were related to the new user interface, but they also paved the way for a performance update, which I am happy to release today.


The new table scanning technology that's used under the hood allows for a dramatic improvement in scanning speed, that's up to 6 times faster than it was before. This will especially be notable when playing multiple clients, but the individual scanning speed for the clients has been increased as well.

The update also brings a fix for the iPoker clients which have recently been updated and fixes an issue with the ignore list.

After the recent performance update, some of the users who are still using Windows 7 experienced compatibility issues. I have since released a couple of patches to fix this.

Additionally, the table themes needed to be adjusted after the latest PokerStars update. With todays patch (v 4.01.03), the Black/Black table theme has already been fixed and the rest of the tables themes will be updated on Monday. I kindly ask you to use the Black/Black table theme until then. If you are using a custom table theme on PokerStars, please contact me and I'll update that on Monday as well.

Yesterday's update triggered some false positives from some antivirus programs. This should be fixed with today's update.

Besides the new partnership, there has been a small update today, which fixes several issues with iPoker and includes some internal code optimizations. As usual, the update will be installed automatically.

Todays update brings several small improvements and fixes. Most notably,
the 'Dynamic Table Tiling' feature had a small bug, so that it would not automatically switch back to a profile for fewer tables. This has been fixed.

The list that shows the tables that are currently being scanned or played sometimes would include distorted items, when several entrys were added simultaneously. This has also been fixed!

Last but not least, PartyPoker has been updated to work with their latest version, which has been released yesterday!
