When I released NEED4SEAT version 4 back in July, I already teased that there is more to come. I am happy to release another major update today, that finally adds the Lobby Scanner, which automatically opens the tables for you.

To be able to select only the best games, many of you play multiple poker sites simultaneously. Scanning the lobbies manually while multi-tabling is tedious and distracting. Now all you need to do is to set up the poker lobby filters and NEED4SEAT will open all tables automatically and repeatedly after a specified interval.

With this update, NEED4SEAT combines all the features required for fully automated table-selection in a single tool. At the moment the Lobby Scanner supports PokerStars, iPoker, and WinningPoker, but the other networks will be added soon. Leave a comment if you want a particular client added next!

Please note: Tables, where the waitlist has been joined, will currently be reopened by the table opener. You can avoid that by filtering out full tables in the lobby. A future update will let the Lobby Scanner ignore those tables automatically.

You can now use the Lobbyscanner on Winamax!

Enable it in the NEED4SEAT settings and then use the Winamax Lobby filters to show the tables you want to monitor. Visible tables will be opened and scanned fully automatic.

With PokerStars, iPoker, WinningPoker and Winamax, the Lobbyscanner now already supports four different clients and more will be added soon!

Pacific Poker is no longer supported by NEED4SEAT. Any seating aids are strictly prohibited by the network's terms and conditions, which they rigorously enforce by banning players even for running such software on other sites when playing on 888.

I therefore decided to drop support for the network and kindly asked their support staff to stop punishing players for running NEED4SEAT. I haven't heard back from them, yet, so you should still be careful when using both softwares simultaneously.

PartyPoker support has been added to the Lobbyscanner!

The Lobbyscanner will automatically open all tables that are visible in the PartyPoker lobby. Enable it in the NEED4SEAT settings and use the PartyPoker lobby filters to hide all tables you don't want to monitor.

I'm looking for the fastest script. Are there any benchmarks comparing the speed of this product to that of others?

Hi and thank you for your questions. There are no benchmarks, because it's really difficult to measure. Seating speed depends on a lot of factors, most important are:

• Internet connection speed
• CPU speed
• How many tables you are scanning simultaneously

And then there is still some randomness involved. Most people will tell you that their script is the fastest, ofcourse. My suggestions is to just test them individually and see which one works best for you.

3rd-Party Tools and Services Policy. In a 40-page document, they have outlined
the upcoming changes that will effect some utility tools, HUDs and of course

Just a quick update: the date for the new PokerStars policies has been pushed back to the 4th of March. I will release the required changes shortly before that and therefore NEED4SEAT will remain allowed on PokerStars at all times!

The PokerStars update has been released! You have two new seating options now:

1. Get seated as soon as a new player joins the table (and at least X players are seated).
2. Get seated when the table quickly starts to fill up.

Seating based on number of seated player is not allowed afaik....

Earlier this year PokerStars decided to change their policies with regards to seating scripts. Unfortunately, the restrictions they put into place did not have a positive effect on ring games – if anything they made things worse. Now, a bit unexpected, PokerStars decided to prohibit the use of any tool that aids the player with his table-selection.

PokerStars is currently testing the updated NEED4SEAT version and as soon as that's done it will be whitelisted again so that you will be able to use NEED4SEAT while the PokerStars client is open.

As most of you probably know, WinningPoker has released a new software this week. At the moment, NEED4SEAT doesn't work with the new software, but an update is already on the way and will be released on Monday.

The new WinningPoker client is supported now. I've tried to get the update out as soon as possible, so two features are still missing: the lobby scanner and dpi scaling support. These features will be added with additional updates soon, of course.

Today's update fixed the WPN lobby scanner! Now everything except support for high dpi scaling is working.

Just to prevent misunderstandings I wanted to let everyone know that it is still allowed to use NEED4SEAT on other sites while the PokerStars client is running!
