If I’m reading correctly it will reset the ev listed, but is this all it resets? Like the output ranges in a preflop sim won’t be changed at all right?
any info on the reset button?

Hello, I'm new in the forum and I've been following this thread recently.
I would like to ask you guys about preflop HU equilibrium with 100bbs deep.
I set the parameters to:
-No dead money
-Build my tree with 2.5xOR/fold, 3bet X4/fold/call, AI/call/4betX2.5/fold, AI/fold/call
-Keep the settings as default
First time I used Or 3X instead of OR 2.5 and I got -8bb/100 for the SB and with 2.5OR I'm getting -9.4bb/100, how can be possible losing from the SB in HU play, what am I forgetting or misunderstanding?
Also, notice that OR% was 60% for 3X which seems to me low but ok OR that big and 63% for 2.5 which is incredibly low for a small OR.

Thank you guys in advance, the time I get mastering the program I'll be very open to helping anyone.

It resets EV which might be scewed from early iterations.

No sure if I understood you right but negative EV in equilibtium is because of rake

I mean when the program stops BB is winning and SB is losing in HU play, that's impossible I guess.

Btw, I put the rake to 0% in order not to get negative values but just theoretical ones.

That was the problem, lol
I though there was no need for postflop play and that Monker would only solve the preflop play.

While trying to start a new run I'm always getting "ERROR: out of memory" after a few minutes of "generting Omaha tables". I got 12 GB RAM and over 300 GB on my SSD, so it should be enough, shouldn't it? What should I do? I'm running the latest version of MonkerSolver.

12gb is not enough to even generate tables. I think monker needs approx 15gb of ram for that. Generally you need at least 128gb of ram to run PLO sims

support don't respond here and don't seem to respond to emails either (emailed 5 days ago). i really want to buy this product but have so many questions and don't currently have a system powerful enough for it.

how can anyone buy/use this product if there's no help when issues arise?

i read here the preflop ranges were no longer for sale because they were no longer accurate. did an updated version become available for sale or at least the old ones?

I would recommend checking out the Skype group that was posted here. Also there is useful information on the Monkersolver website and in this thread.

My English is poor so I cant understand what regret enables us. Please elaborate about this.
Also, I'd like to know what exactly is "average strategy", which is refreshed using "reset" button as far as I understand.

Are you sure you have right version of Java? It's important that you have the 64-bit version for Monkersolver.

Support doesn't respond to anything anywhere and that's why I haven't purchased this.

I can't justify spending this much on software when it's difficult to use and there is no support.

What is the pros and cons of using "Syncronize" in settings? I noticed that it always improves performance by shutting it down. What's the benefit of turning it on? Thanks

I can't really give you more information than the tool tip, but it isn't recommended to untick 'Synchronize' unless it significantly increases the iteration speed. What exactly the issues might be from unticking it are unclear, but I presume it simply means that there could be errors in the calculation.
The way I see it, if you untick 'Synchronize' and it increases iterations from say 900k to 1000k/s, then that isn't worth the risk of obtaining a solution with potential errors.
