Monkersolver support is not existent.

The best person I found to answer questions / build trees is the monkerguy.
https://www.monkerguy.com

The discord chat also has a lot of information, you can find almost every answer there.

added 16gb ram totaling 32 and still getting error: out of memory even for 40bb nl solutions 3-4 handed. changed the xm value in the doc from xm3 to xm7 and the left the bottom one as xm7.

any suggestions?

i wish there were some definitive guide on monker and the RAM/processing necessary for various sim-types (a guide that was accurate)

Only change the -xmx and set it to ~30
If you click on the settings tab after building your tree you can see a ram estimate

It's hard to do because depends on so many things. Even limited to just one betsize, it matters a lot whether that betsize is pot or half pot etc

Basically what Hoopster81 said, it depends a lot on how you configure the game tree and the accuracy settings. There aren't really any hard and fast rules. You also have to consider your budget, and how much you value certain types of accuracy.
There are some basic examples on the Monkerware website that you can view here:

http://monkerware.com/trees.html

Basically the "guide" that shows you how much RAM you need for what is if you open Monkersolver and review the estimates for various types of game trees and formats.

Are you trying to view or solve a solution? As Hoopster81 said, you need to change the Xmx value for loading game trees and solutions. With 32GB of installed RAM, you can perhaps get away with an Xmx of not more than 28, since your OS will typically use at least 4GB of RAM.

Are you looking for a .exe file for Windows? If so, you need to make sure to download the file that is for Windows:

I got question about viewing ranges (pre/postflop) in PLO.

For preflop we have monkerviewer, but everybody know that is not comfortable at all:
1) I cannot use same filters as in monker solver to watch my hands
I can watch only AA, KK, but not AK exclude AA, or T9 without A,K,Q,J etc

Are you going to add/fix something in this spot in the nearest future ?

I would be happy to see filtering by HIGHCARD in monkersolver, for example
I want to watch AKQ, I wish to see somethink like AKQJ AKQT AKQ9, but in solver it is showing like AKQ9 AKQ7 AKQ2 AKQT. If I want to look few groups on preflop I always have headache in 1 hour

2) I cannot scroll down too see all hands, but not a big problem at all if add filters from #1

3) I got so many solutions for postflop I created or bought , and if I want to watch it, I know for sure that I will have "hot head" in 1 hour, and for this 1hour I won't even learn all about range I need to cbet on the flop))
Will we have some viewer for postflop?

4) What updates we can expect from monker solver in 2019?
I would not recommend using Monkerviewer to view PLO preflop solutions (if that's what you were referring to, I'm not sure based on your post). It wasn't designed to facilitate that.

I believe you can filter the hands from within the solver the way you are proposing. Perhaps review Odds Oracle's generic syntax on how to do that, this works for the most part within Monkersolver:

Don't know if this has been asked before but I can't upload a sim on my Monker to view. I used it before and it worked just fine. As I try to upload it reads on Status bar: ERROR: java.lang.NullpointerExpection.

I have latest version of Java downloaded.

I am trying to install monkersolver but somehow cannot make it work.

I downloaded monkersolver free from the monker website (where can I even download the full version?). Installing it on windows 10 64-bit I get a 706kb monkersolverfree application.
At first I was getting java error messages while trying to run it. Searching the forum I figured out I should use another java version. Now I am using "Java 8 Update 191 (64-bit)" and dont get the error message anymore but when I double click on the monker application nothing happens, it doesnt launch.

What am I doing wrong?

Does anybody know what's going on? Did anyone get a answer from the support? They can't possibly just have shot it down?

I've never received an answer via email, neither via PM on 2p2. It would be insane for a developer to simply shut down and not care about it though.

Any other way to get in touch with him/her?
