Yes. We've updated the stats many times. There's a new interface and everything being worked on for the new Leak Buster. There's going to be updated stats in there as well. The stats don't change very much year to year. Very slight differences in some areas.

I have the current LB

Do you have an approx release date for the new LB?
Is this free to existing users, or a special rate for existing users or perhaps it's a subscription model?

Thanks

I don't have an approx date right now. It's in the early stages of development. I don't know if there's going to be an update charge at this point. All updates of LB have been free to this point since it's release. There really hasn't been any decision on that yet, as the latest update is just under way.

I saw some complaints about leak buster and wanted to add my opinion. I have purchased leakbuster and used it on HM2 without incident for a year now. Also, I have used there pokerzion web site and did have problems, which they responded to and went the extra yard. In the end, it was my computer with all its security software that caused the problem.

TO SUMMARIZE:
They get an excellent rating across the board.

I sincerely appreciate the time you took to post, and your kind words, even if typically posters with only 1 post don't get much credit. Regardless, I do really appreciate it.

I'm not sure what complaints you're referring to, maybe the crazy one in this thread from a few months back? lol I'm on a lot of forums and don't ever see any real negative feedback about it ever. It's quite positive from people who have used it. But if you're referring to something specific, I'm always open to critiques. It only makes a product better, assuming it's not just someone ranting.

Any ways, thanks again. Always appreciate a kind word. PM me and I'll hook you up with some coupons if you'd like.

Leak Buster license server has been back online. I forgot to post this yesterday.

If anyone has any issues with LB/HM2 and the latest Win 10 update, please let me know. Still looking into this, but I think there's a resource issue (files missing) that the latest update is causing. We've been dealing with some fires w/ the license server so we haven't been able to look into it yet, but if anyone else has seen something, please let me know. TY!

I have no Leakbuster range values (LB Range column, LB.VP, LB.PFR etc variables show NA) in the Leakbuster popup in HM2.

How do I fix this?

Did you just recently update, or did anything change for you recently? It was working previously I assume?

No, I don't believe range values have ever worked for me.

Ok, something is messed up with your guide file then. Close HM2 and then go here and delete this file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Holdem Manager 2\Config\Lbguide.hem

It will recreate this file and you should see ranges in LB again.

OK, still no Leakbuster ranges in Leakbuster popup (N/A everywhere as before).

I deleted Lbguide.hem and it was re-created when I ran Leakbuster again after restarting HM2. First with 2Kb stub, then after I ran Leakbuster analysis it changed to 82Kb. I closed HM2 and restarted it and still no ranges in popup.

Ok, maybe we're misunderstanding each other. What do you mean by pop-up?

In "HUD Settings"--> "popup designer" there is a popup called "Leakbuster_Ranges" with three columns: Leak buster ranges, Total and LB Range. The LB Range column has variables such as LB.VP, LB.PFR, LB.3B.

When I display this popup (I have it as a tab in the table popup) in the hand replayer, the first column is simply a descriptor containing, for example, the text VPIP, the second column is my VPIP (say 27.05) filled from the HM2 DB, and the third column contains N/A where I would expect it to contain the preferred Leakbuster range, for example, for VPIP (say 20.2-27.6).

Ok, gotcha. So you are talking about the actual HUD in HM. I thought you were talking about ranges in leak buster.

So at some point when you imported the HUD you overwrote the pop-up. But in the pop-up there isn't LB ranges. It's just a color coded HUD that has the LB ranges in there based on player types. If this is gone, I think the only way to restore it is the delete the HM layouts files and then have it re-create it. I wouldn't recommend doing this though. I'd manually add them back in, and I'd have to ask HM how to do this honestly. I don't know off hand.

If you're getting an error opening leak buster nl with the latest HM2 update, you need to do one of the following things:

1) Revert to the previous HM2 build - 2.0.0.8443
http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-...lt-update.html

2) Wait for the HM2 update release, which is sometime this week. Their last build did not include a necessary resource file.

3) download the patch manually, and unzip it (with sub folder in tact) to your holdem manager 2 directory:

http://drivehud.com/poker-hud/LB_HM2...pdate_only.zip

Make sure to overwrite existing files.

If I had 1 suggestion it would be that LB uses ev results rather than actual results. It's time consuming to look at errors that are highlighted and then go through the hands to discover you are just running below ev in a particular spot rather than playing it badly. Just as importantly it may also mean there are spots you think you are playing well when in fact the opposite could be true and you are running above ev in those spots. It's just much less likely you would look into those areas.

Yes, agreed. The new version of leak buster is focusing exactly on this. The main point initially is just to highlight primary areas where you'd want to review based on results. But like I said, I agree and the new version will combine a lot of new information and ways to process this info.

I think I might have misunderstood you after re-reading. You mean the suggested review hands only correct? Because obviously all of the other data Leak Buster is analyzing is not dependent on EV. How you're running is irrelevant and the data will be valid. But the hands it suggests to look at is what I was referring to. This we want to fine tune. That hand tab was added later for convenience of reviewing related leaks easily from with Leak Buster.

Is there going to be a leak buster version available for drivehud soon?
I'm interested and I see it says coming soon, but is there a date for release?

Leak Buster looks really cool! I have a couple of questions:

1) I understand this is a tool for helping us reduce leaks but based on what method/theory?

2) Is it based on exploitative or optimal (GTO) strategy?

3) Lastly, which books supplement best with Leak Buster?

Thanks!
