hey, just downloaded and made a payment for license.

the thing is after i install it and tick "Launch itmbrm" i can open the software.

but then if i close it and randomly try to open it again from the desktop shortcut or even the folder where it is installed i get the following error and can only open the software if i reinstall it lol

you should have made like a 7 days trial instead of puting 1K max, last time ive tried it i put a wrong number and that was it for me

you shouldnt be scared that much about people using your software for free, here you rather limit us to enjoy the quality of your work.

Think about DC, they've released no drm videos and i an exceptionnal sucess

so im just saying, think about a 5 or 7 days trial and keep the good work !

I've a problem with your software, we cant enter negative values and when we borrow it automaticly ask us to borrow from a BR. So in the central recapitulation of the BR

you dont see who you owe money to and so on

i'd like to see something like that

My idea for free version is to help new players see the importance of a good BRM strategy, most start with something like $50..$200, so if the program help them to raise it above $1k, its a big deal.

When you put a wrong number, you can delete it at History window

I'll reconsider a trial period when a big version (2.x) came out.

i think you shouldnt aim low stakes players but msnl and hsnl players, they are the one who are constantly borrowing from each other, playing on multisites and need to keep track of the money.

the lower stakes player can use an excel sheet ;p

one thing i have trouble to understand is why we have to say "borrow from x to" and chose then a place like MB or PS

cant we juste have the borrow as a negative ?

You are almost there!

The latest problem is that you make the user need to chose a place from where he borrows then put the bankroll. I mean you need to put "borrow money from (player name) to "Bankroll" place.

It's rather problematic because in the report it deduce the borrowed money to the bankroll place we have chosen. So I've tried a work around and Created a bankroll placed Called "debt" where i place the money ive borrowed in negative value though now it affects directly the amount of bankroll i have.

What we would need is something like that:

Dont link "borrow from a player and bankroll place", so that in the report it doesnt diminish the bankroll place. So it would look like that

Imagine I have 30 on MB, 50 on PS, 80 on party and i have borrowed 60 from a player
So in the report we have

Bankroll

MB 30
PS 50
PARTY 80

current bankroll 160

borrowed 60 from X

total borrow 60

sumarry

total = 100

you see ? the real problem is that you make us link money borrowed and bankroll place and its not really practical

The logic is when you borrow some money, that money must go somewhere, so the program know when It have to be listed in a report, graph or something else..
In your case the 60 you got borrowed, were is this money? In your pocket? Neteller like account? Bank? This is the place you have to inform when in the "Borrow" window...

Now lets take a look when you Lend money, again this money must be somewhere, the place you are taking money out to lend is the place that goes in "Lend" window...

If I let a Borrow or Lend without a Place in database, it will hurt its integrity, its like make a Cashout w/o choosing a Place, or a Deposit w/o a bankroll...

I understand your logic

the thing is often it doesnt go into 1 place, a money borrowed in poker is like an investment so it goes to 3 place (bankroll) instead of 1. Besides there is also debts that have nothing to do with Poker and Bankrolling. Thats why i was trying to name a place "Debt" before but i was placing it under "bankroll" so not practical

Another solution is make a place Called "Borrow" and split into other places using "Transfer" feature...

But for now, if you want to see how much of you entire BR is really yours, you have to use the Reports.. The Bankroll window is a Cashier mirror, that shows how much you have to play at moment, and make decision were you going to play.

In future I'm playing in make an detailed Bankroll window that can show, lets say:

USD $500 ($250)

Were the ($250) is the net amount that you own.
