Started another session just now. Played for 45 mins and BCC (or PT4, cant tell because I am getting no errors in PT4) missed A LOT of hands. My HUD was on all the tables (3) and I was checking to make sure I was getting all my hands but I wasnt. I found the first file, but what is the second file you want? I opened up that link but there were many files there.

BCC is missing 6-8% of hands in .4 patch for me now apposed to the previous 10-12% of .2

I did notice that one hud box didnt reset when a new player joined the table right after the firts one left. But for all others, it seems the stats are resetting as long as the seat isnt instantly filled after the original player leaves

I just realized an issue that falls in line with what others are saying here.


According to pt4 Im getting about a quarter less hands per hour (over about 20 hours of playing since the patch). So I think there are hands that pt4 arent even recording as errors that are being missed entirely.

Once I import more hands through hand converter and see how many fresh non duplicate hands it gives me since the new patch, Ill be able to tell from if there are hands that hand converter is catching that the card catcher isn't

^^ what he said plus sometimes table stats are resetting back to 0 using ipoker bbc.

Is the version for MTTs working yet?

I have tried the above fix and it does not work. Just so you understand, I get the 'No hero detected" on every hand when utilizing the iPoker setting.

It causes various problems with Holdem manager 2 and the HUD. If this is something that is un-fixable (due to a bug in HEM2), then please update the Pokerstars setting for the Bovada update. Thank you for your consideration.

If you're missing your HUD when loading up tables, try this. Haven't put it to the full test, but here's what I did the last couple times and it seemed to work.

Instead of loading up multiple tables at once, load up 1 at a time, wait for the HUD to pop up, then proceed to open the next table. Don't open another table until the hud is up.

I'll try and address each question here in a bit. But what would help a ton is if you are seeing something that looks like an issue or bug, then do the following:

1) Go to settings on the card catcher - check enable logging.
2) After you see something, send your bcc.log file and the file from the current date of this location to support:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ace Poker Solutions\Bovada Card Catcher\Logs

We're not seeing what you're seeing yet. I've seen a table not come up, and it had the same name as another table open. Other than that, we've played several sessions here. I just played one right now, open and closed many tables. 6-max, full ring, and the HUD came up every time. It did miss one big hand in that session though, and it was an all-in where I won a big pot. So that's good I caught that.

We do have some work arounds we're going to do an a new process I think will clean most of this up. I think this new process will also resolve Bodog China, and we'll know for sure by monday. We also have tournaments working. So these are all positives.

It's strange how bovada is releasing some of it's info. It never did this before. If we were just implementing something within our own system, this wouldn't be an issue. It's immensely much more complex getting it to work with 3rd party programs we have no control over. But the kinks will get worked out.

This seems to be inline with the issue i had hem2 on the ipoker setting (even prior to the update). I had the ipoker setting configured exactly the same as the stars setting, yet with the ipoker setting no hud would launch because no hero was ever detected. However, all of these hands were still importing into my database and being recognized in the table finder. I've since given up on the ipoker setting and am using the stars setting, but i'll try the fix you suggested and create a new hero name to see if that resolves the issue.

yo freakanasty, i think i spotted a pattern- i'm noticing that when i start tables (6max), the HUD doesnt seem to display correctly. once i attach the table, or even if i wait for it to fill up, it just shows 2 of the 6 panels and HEM2 stops importing after just a few hands

also changing ipoker screen name to HeroX didnt solve any problems with the "no hero present" message that accompanies each imported hand in HEM2

I'm not sure about this happening before. I actually didn't see people reporting this consistently before the bovada change. But I do know why it happened for some people, and it should be fixed this next build.

quick noob question...

I downloaded the BCC beta version 6.4, it downloaded fine and everything and right now is an icon on my desktop. However, when I click to upload the BCC, it doesnt even load. Any suggestions?

PS- Was working fine for me for months before the update....A little pissed as my 10 BB/100 hands win rate is suffering!!!

Yes, we know why this is. I'm going to have a build up today that should resolve this and also have tournament support.

Probably your firewall blocking it. Temp turn that off and then try and re-run it.

Yeah, we know what the issue is. I'm going to put up a new build with these fixes tomorrow and tournament support. Just want to address one more thing before we release.

No. It's just a universal installer program, so if it's not loading, then something is blocking it. I'd check if you have windows firewall on too. Try and re-download it, right click on it to run it as admin just to ensure you have full permissions (even though it should just ask you for this).
