Thanks for the version and tracker information. First off, update to the latest. There's a lot of fixes and updates since the version you're running:

1) You're clicking timebank on the catcher though correct? The auto time bank can miss on some systems where the windows scaling is not default. If it's set to anything outside of 100%, then this can cause an issue on some systems. It's something the developers are addressing now. On laptops it's really easy to get outside of the default settings here by just pinching or expanding your mouse pad. People do it w/o realizing. As a temp solution you can try setting this to 100%, and it should work for you. How to change this depends on what OS you're running, but it's all somewhat similar under your display settings.
2) This sounds like two slightly different issues. But I'd note, after a table change, most of the time you're going to be in the middle of a hand. So it's not until after the next hand is played that the HUD will update and change. This should work 100% though, so try the latest version. As far as HUD placement, if you're using preferred setting, I'd again update to the latest since that option works better if you use the internal preferred seating option.
Try those though with the latest version and let me know if that helps.
