Ok thanks. I'll have the developer take a look.

I'm not entirely sure card catcher is recording the hands accurately. For example, my hud stats shows my opponent with a 0 3b% when i've witness it multiple times. My pots won without showdown stats is always in the negative. And i'm receiving these errors in PT4 import.

In my last test run. PT4 recorded 101 hands with 25 errors.

I've noticed the same behavior, for every 100 hands that it imports for me I get about 10 errors. I feel like most of the errors are on larger pots. PT had me at -150 for a session even though I had made around 250 over ~400 hands.

I am finding that card catcher is always (small sample size) not capturing the last hand played if that hand was all in and busts someone at a Heads Up table.

Hi there! Great product, was really looking forward to using it but it doesn't seem to be compatible with HEM1? I got the hands to capture and HEM was uploading them, but I couldn't get the HUD to pop up no matter what I tried. I was playing a DON SnG as well as a cash table and couldn't get the HUD to pop up at all.

Does this program just not work with HEM1 or is there something I'm doing wrong? I added the catcher folder to HEM, I click "start auto import" and then use the table manager to find the tables I'm at. However after doing these things the HUD doesn't pop up at all. I still have two days left on the trial and I'm quite determined to see if I can get it to work with HEM1 because if I can, I'm gonna go out and buy the serial code for this asap! Real satisfied with the hand converter so far and really hope I can get some help with this too.

Thanks!

I've discover a few bugs after looking through the hand histories. Sometimes the card catcher does not designate hero to a seat number, incomplete hand histories, incorrect boards.

I'll post a few examples below.

Thanks for a great program.

Some issues we've been having:
1) You can't click time bank when the program is running. When you try clicking nothing happens.
2) You can't open the hand history when you click last hand, nothing comes up.
3) PT doesn't seem to recognize if play switched between HU and 6max at a 6max table.
4) There are still a decent amount of random flashes..

Hi...

1) Yeah, this is because PT's HUD isn't used to having an overlay on this kind of table (bovada). I've talked with the developer about that to see if there's anything that can be done. HM seems ok.
2) I'm not sure what you mean here.
3) Not sure either. You mean you want the table labeled HU's? It's funny because even with the converter we have this discussion with other people back and forth. Some people want it one way, some people want it the other.
4) This is going to depend on system resources. A lot of improvements were done here in the last build. On my system, I never even notice it. I go to an older system of mine, and I can see it from time to time. On HU's tables it happens more, and I know this is being addressed.

Thanks for your feedback. We're working on getting this as close to perfect as we possibly can. There will be another update in a couple of days.

1. FreakDaddy addressed
2. Most likely a bovada bug. That feature randomly breaks. Some tables are fine, some won't bring up the history. Been this way since before this app was released. Bovada update before the last one was when I first noticed this.
3. ??
4. You guys with the flashing: If you are on Win7, try turning off Aero and see if that helps. When Aero is running, it controls the display. Apps that write to the screen are actually writing to a virtual screen that Aero creates/controls. It then builds the display image and puts it on the monitor. Even if you tell your system to not use a page file, Aero still writes to the disk to create the image(s). So, when something like PT is running and hammering the disk when postgres is handling data, you will see display issues if your disk is slow.

I am not using this app yet, so those are guesses trying to help.

How does this program work in conjunction with the Bovada Hand Converter. I still wanna use the converter to see everyone's hole cards, but I know that this program imports the hands without the cards into the database. When I import the converted hands, will they replace the HUD hands?

Thanks for the quick responses, I'll try explaining the issues further.

1) Not being able to use the time bank is a showstopper for many of us. IMO this is by far the most important issue.

2, 3 and 4 are not a big deal but it could be very nice to see them addressed at some point as well.

2) On the top left of every table there's a clickable text that says Last Hand: XXXX. Clicking it opens the hand history of the last hand, allows you to see mucked hands and sums up the hand history quickly. This is not a Bovada bug, it works fine when BVCC is closed. When BVCC is running (with PT4 at least?) clicking the text does nothing (maybe it's the same issue as clicking the time bank does nothing?).
3) The issue here is at ring tables only, we don't play HU tables. Players stats differ greatly if they are playing HU or with more players at a certain table. On other sites PT/HEM know if you are playing someone HU at a 6max table or if there are more people playing. Example - you start a 6max table with someone, both of you play HU for 50 hands, then someone else joins, on other sites, PT will understand that the game is no longer HU and will ignore the hands that were imported when the game was HU. If the third guys leaves the table and you are back to HU with the same player again, PT will again use the 50 hands that were imported earlier and add on to that.
4) Win8 here.

Thanks again!

Don't know what to tell you, 4Barrel. Maybe FreakDaddy can figure something out. I'll just add my observations in case they help someone:

2. I use that link often. I don't use the BVCC yet and I still see this issue. They way I can sometimes get around it is to click the replayer and wait forever for that thing to load. Sometimes the link functionality comes back after that loads.

4. Win8 still uses the same Aero composite desktop technology, they just rebranded it and marketed it by saying "we've move beyond Aero." So the disk writes can still be an issue. Definitely a stab in the dark though. I have fixed display issues such as this on others machines by having them install a SSD that eliminated the disk bottleneck.

Good luck

Thanks... we're working hard to get it working as ideally as possible.

That issue is from the PT HUD. You just need to rotate the players until they lineup and then lock and save the layout. Once you get it set, then it should be fine for any future tables you load.

They would create duplicate hands if you saved them with the same hero name. If you're looking to use them together because you want to see known hole cards, the best way to do this is to either:
1) Save the card catcher hands as a different hero name (go to settings and change this), or with the converter (on the main form). Then just switch back and forth between hero names to view them.
2) Create a separate database and import them. This would take longer to switch between users.

I was already thinking about a way the synch date/times to overwrite if you use the converter, but I put it on hold so the developer on this could work on other issues. I may re-visit, but I'm not even sure it will be possible. I still need to investigate some things.

If you get a locked layout setup on a table correctly, then when you load new tables it will align properly. I've done this myself on several systems. I THINK, but not 100% sure, you need to get one table correct first and save, and then proceed with loading other tables. I believe I did the same thing as your mentioning at one point and it would change the other tables. But once I had one table correct, saved, and then loaded, every time after that point it was correct.
