Prior to the last update, there was a frequent hud resetting issue at heads up tables. Since the last update, the hud almost never updates / resets when one player leaves and a new players sits. It also sometimes just stops updating mid match. I'd say during the average session i have to stop and restart the hud 10+ times which is mildly annoying when playing 4 tables on bovada in addition to playing other sites.

I'm a little bit confused about what this does exactly. I know it's a HUD, but does it also have the ability to show villains hole cards right after the hand in the hand replayer?

hey... having some issues getting this to work (first time user).
Windows 8.1, tried running as admin to be safe

Table actually shows up in display when I click to start catching. However, nothing is making it to the hand histories.

Not entirely sure it installed correctly. It sits with a "loading components" screen in the background (v.1.00.36). I ignore that screen widget and instead click on the trial icon to get it to run.

display settings are set to dpi default. HEM2 (though don't think that matters as it's not storing the cards in the folder).

Sure I am missing something obvious and have not read through tis whole thread.

make sure you have the sn "hero" from Pokerstars selected as the player for the database results.

Thanks Warder. That doesn't even come up as an option yet. I assume I need the card catcher to store cards in the history folder before poker stars hero can show up? I'm not seeing any cards get stored in the program files history folder for the software.

And you're sure that your animations are turned off and everything else is alignment with the troubleshooter requirements? We're in a bit of an in-between spot because the developers don't want to spend too much time on this old method when they are finishing the new one. It's very close to be done now, so when the update comes out, it won't be missing and hands in any situations anymore. I can help you get it working better as much as I can in the short term. It sounds like you're only playing HU's correct?

No, our converter can do that 24 hours after you played the hand, but not the bovada catcher. That would be pretty unethical if you could do that.

When you say loading components screen is on and you just put it in the background. Do you ever click start catching? Run through the troubleshooter. You can also send a screenshot of your bovada tables running to support and they can help as well once they see your setup.

Yeah that's quite an unfair advantage. I only asked because I could have sworn I saw a guy streaming on twitch look at villains hole cards when he opened the hand viewer. I must have just been tired.

Anyways are you still doing the discount for those that bought the card converter?

If the hand went to showdown, you can see what the villain mucked after the hand in the Bovada viewer (clicking the last hand link). Maybe that is what you saw? Seeing all the non-showdown hole cards doesn't come until 24 hours later.

Hi,

Having some issues with errors and with PokerTracker either stopping to import hands or BCC not creating them. Errors are usually unexpected end of hand history or invalid pot size/winnings (usually off by 1bb). Also, hands will just stop importing; as far as I can tell when this happens PokerTracker is still working and BCC still shows the tables that I'm at, but I can't figure out why new hands aren't showing up, and I can't get it to resume without exiting my tables and restarting PT and BCC. Also, I clicked start catching once and had another error pop up, but I don't recall exactly what it stated (something about something in the background, click continue to try again...). I think I've followed most of the standard troubleshooting steps: no animations, windows DPI settings, minimum table size. My trial ends Sunday and would love to get this straightened out. Thanks for the help.

After it stops importing for whatever reason, if I click stop catching and then start catching, I get an error: "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. This BackgroundWorker is currently buys and cannot run multiple tasks concurrently." There are other details also I can send if needed.

Also the whole stops working after a few minutes thing seems to be only on full ring; 6-max is fine.

Yeah that happens to me to. On my full ring tables it catches around 6 hands and then stops importing, but it continues to catch all of my 6max tables. I haven't tried contacting support yet though I've just stuck to playing 6max.

Yeah, but I'm not sure I can justify buying it if I can't get it to work at full ring; I prefer full ring....

i own hand converter, holdem indicator and bovada card catcher. prior to finding out about card catcher, i used holdem indicator and converted hands into my hm2 database every few days. i have the hand converter set to parse hands with invictusBV as the hero. after trying out the card catcher, i also set it to parse hands with invictusBV as the hero. however, upon realizing that it was missing hands, i set the hero to invictusCC so as to not create a mess in the database. i continued importing hands with hand converter because it is still the best way of getting a complete history of bodog hands. however, when these two are used simultaneously, i now get a lot of duplicate hands during import. this is probably because hand converter and bovada card catcher parses hands the exact same way. so because hand converter and card catcher are set to different heroes but they parse hands the exact same way and one is considered a duplicate of the other despite different heroes, i actually never know which hero gives me a complete picture of my hands in hm2. could you include an option to make it parse hands distinctly?

I got the full ring cash game play tables working tonight. I think the issue might have been read rights to the folder where hand histories are stored. I'm not entirely sure. Either way I now can see the play table hands showing up in the folder as well as in active sessions under the hero pokerstars in HM2.

However, I tried moving to a cheap 6max game and hands weren't catching. I'm still using a trial version so not sure if that matters.

Now it appears I have passed my 3 day trial period. Ultimately I am trying to get this to work playing 6 max DoNs and turbo MTTs. If you can confirm these will eventually work, I'll just buy the software and sort it out later.

Lemme know. thx

Yes, you either get a discount link when you purchase the converter, or if you bought a while back, then just contact support and they can send you a discount purchase link.

Send a screenshot of your bovada tables running to support. I'm going to post up a complete walk through of things to adjust if it's not catching properly on here soon. It's in the tutorial, and video as well, but people don't want to look at those. It will capture full ring fine. A couple of common things that if you adjust will capture better:

1) Make sure game play animations are turned off on bovada.
2) Don't use the racetrack style table formats on bovada. Those don't capture well for whatever reason right now.
3) Use black on red cards.
4) Check if your DPI settings in windows is over 100%. If it is, then bringing it back to default of 100% will increase capture rate.

In a couple more weeks, these settings won't matter, but for now they do.

Yeah, I hear you. I guess the best way is to just have 2 different DB's. I like the suggestion as well. In this next catcher update it won't be missing any hands. Now, if you still want to view known hole cards with the converter, there may be something we can do there. I'd have to speak to the development team.

Thanks for the help. I e-mailed support and its working better with default size rather than min size tables; I purchased earlier today. Any update on ETA for MTT support?

Ok, good. Right now the developers are both focused 100% on getting the new process complete, so the capture rate will be perfect no what what the settings or mods are. Concurrently, one of them is working on MTT support, so once the next update goes out, then MTT support will be right after that. It's very close now. These guys have been working non-stop on it.

is the new update going to fix how cpu heavy this program is? It takes like 30-50% of cpu and makes it lag all my other programs. i5- 2.6ghz and can barely run this program

Yes, the new update should reduce resources considerably, but are you sure about that? The largest I've ever seen it be is ~400MB resource wise. What are you seeing exactly?
