Yeah, there was a bug that we had on some systems. We've been testing this for an extremely long time with a large beta testing team, but until it has real world exposure you won't get everything. We just put up a new release today (.10), and this should solve your issue. If it doesn't for any reason, just let me know. I'll have the developer look at it, and ask about extending a trial if you need it.

here's a question-> why not write your own poker tracking software so we can eliminate HM2 as well since you seem to specialize in Bovada?

Note:
I don't own any poker tracking software but am planning to get some this month since I'm playing more online (Bovada).
Correct.

As to your second question, it's not the direction we want to go. We have a lot of new products coming out including a new phone training app later this month.

Yeah, try them both out and see what you like. Both are good for different reasons.

As long as they are cash games and not zone, then it should be saving hands. I've never heard of that happening before. Try going back to the site and downloading and installing the latest version. Let me know if that works better for you.

Thanks. Can I get a small extension on trial?

The flickering has stopped with the latest version, however, I am still not seeing hand histories in the folder. Could this be because I am not using the default cards for Bovada?

Well, downloaded the .10 version this evening (support gave me a trial extension - great customer service!)

While the disappearing status problem seemed to be resolved, the stats now stop recording (vpip, pfr, etc.) after 8-15 hands. Funny thing is the stats not recording have no rhyme-or-reason meaning player 5, for example, stats stop recording at 6 hands while player 3 stats stopped recording after 15 hands.

Weird huh?

Oh, one more thing - session stats are not recording into HM2 however the site setup has the proper ACE POKER + subfolders recorded according to the Card Catcher tutorial video

I also made sure there were no animations active in the client software.

I'm hoping that the wiz kids at ACE can get this resolved. Even with the snags I've had to this point, this solution is heads-and-shoulders above HoldemIndicator IMHO.

If there's any configuration/setup information you need from me, be happy to oblige!

Thanks for your time and attention FreakDaddy

Bingo.

Ya, it can do four colored deck, etc... but no table or card mods. It can't handle that based on the method. If you change that you'll be golden.

You're welcome. We're still working out a couple of last kinks, but for the most part people seem to be using it fine.

If you're getting some hands, but it's stopping, then it has to be recording stats into HM2. I'm not totally sure what you mean, but the stopping is an issue. Just make sure you don't have any table or card mods running.

We do have another update coming out today, so I'll post in here when it's out. Thanks for your feedback. If this next update doesn't work for you for any reason, getting a log file would be helpful in seeing what's happening on your system.

The flicker is back Apparently it only happens when I have multiple tables open. All tables after the first one flicker, never the first one opened. Are there any settings I can try turning off to fix it?

Also, if hero goes to showdown in a heads up cash game and it's checked on the river, the losing hand is not captured if the hero wins.

If you're getting heavy flicker, then it's a resource issue. You may get some from time to time (quick flicker), but in general it shouldn't be much. If it is, then probably reducing computer resource. If you're running it with HM2, because it's so resource intensive it increases the possibility of this happening. I run it on 4 tables though with HM2 and it's fine, so it just depends on system and resources.

This happened once, or you've seen it happen several times? It shouldn't happen, but just let me know.

Update is on ace poker solutions site. You'll just have to download and re-install it.

I have an i7 with 16gigs of ram, so likely not a resource issue, but I will look into the flicker more and see if turning off everything else fixes it (Using PT4). In regards to the showdown issue, it happens everytime for me.

Update seems to have resolved missing player stats. Good job and thank you. Hands are not being recorded in hm2, however. After checking hand history directory and not seeing any files I'm beginning to suspect system resource issues. I'm going to load specific software on another more powerful system and give it a whirl.

Thanks FreakDaddy/Ace Poker for being so supportive and attentive with me. You guys are a great group.

The software is using a ton of resources:

Does that look right?

Thanks, but I'm not sure what you mean. How do you have stats, but you don't have hands? That's impossible.

Are you sure you're looking for username hero in HM2?

No, but the developer did change something on the resource side. This may also might be a .net bug though where it's not dropping info when it should be. Do you know what version you're running by chance?

The highest I had seen it at was less than 1/2 of that. I'll have to ask him and see what he says. I know that we're going to add a setting to adjust it back or set it higher depending on system resources. We've already talked about that. I never saw anything near that high with beta testers either. Thanks for letting me know though.

Sorry, I mean what .net version you have.

But on a side note, there is a newer version of the bovada card catcher. You can download it on the site.

Well, don't I feel like a donk. You were right FreakDaddy, had default name set in HM2 to name used when importing HH with Bovada Hand Converter. When I switched to Hero, lo-and-behold hands were there.

I think you mentioned earlier in our communications that ACE would be giving a discount for Card Catcher to folks who purchased the Hand Converter?

Again, thanks for your time and patience.

Glad you found it. I think we may this super clear with the bovada converter, but need to add it in a couple of more places for the bovada card catcher.
