Yes, there's a video tutorial and online manual. Both are right on the main interface of the card catcher. The manual is here:

If you're stuck, just let me know, but typically the only reason it wouldn't work is if the auto import folder isn't setup or the incorrect database is selected in settings on the catcher. It's pretty much always one of those 2 things.

It's a pretty unique opportunity to study the game. We don't want to be results oriented when analyzing poker hands/situations, but it's pretty helpful to be able to learn to "player type" better. I've played online a long time, I've been pretty successful myself, and having that extra info post game to study I think has really helped my game even more. I have a better overall sense of what different kinds of players are really doing, than having to have made many assumptions.

I do highly recommend it, and I'm not just saying that because we sell it. We don't make much money off it, it's a low cost tool. It's just a great learning tool. Pretty sure others would agree.

When I try to open the application, I get the "do you allow" prompt, then when I click ok, nothing happens and the app isnt running anywhere on my pc.

A virus scanner on your system is likely blocking it. Either add an exception for the bovada card catcher, or temporarily turn off your virus scanner / firewall.

Bovada Card Catcher is consistently missing hands. I know this for certain because when I convert hands for a session with Bovada Hand Converter, the number of hands found always exceeds the amount recorded by Bovada Card Catcher.

I emailed support and sent log files as requested, after which support told me that they would forward everything to the development team and get back to me. That was two weeks ago. Three days later on July 29 I sent another email asking for an update but have yet to receive a reply.

Would appreciate if this gets fixed since my roommate is having the same problem with BCC on his computer, so I doubt this is an isolated issue.

Yep having the same issues, and this has been something that has been happening for a long time. Generally it only misses a few hands, but over a long period of time this gets quite annoying, especially when the catcher tends to miss some of the larger pots....

We've run this support thread for a long time. The last time I had any reports of missing data from the latest version was over 6 months ago. It's not that I don't think it's happening, it's just that I have literally not seen anything from testing, playing myself, or any major poker forum report and issue. And we're on just about every major poker forum. We will look at any data from logs though. We've addressed and fixed any issue that's been sent or posted on here. Thanks for sending them.

It already supports ignition casino and bodog as well.

cool, when i opened up BCC and tried to start catching it said poker client wasn't open. do I need to make any changes to settings going from Bovada to Ignition?

You have something running and accessing it, like HM or PT. Shut them down, then install the catcher (and shut down any previous versions).

I just checked my db and there seems to be a 0-5 hand discrepancy in most sessions with the BCC profile having more hands (53 over 8100 hands) than the BHC profile.

Yes, and the card catcher should be getting everything. You're issue with the hand converter, as I remember, is probably because you had several hands where the rake was changed before the update was done.

But if you compare your sessions results in Bovada/Ignition to what was caught in your session, they should match up.

I am having the same issue.

Ive had the card catcher for 2 days, it missed 6 hands in my first session.

My 2nd session isn't available for download yet via bovada but I know its missing hands because my session ended with me up double my buy in but according to PT4 I only won 50% of my buy in.

So when I download and import my HH for last night its def going to show missing hands.

We're talking about the card catcher here, not the hand converter.

I know there's an issue with 08 and the hand converter (puravida's issue). Other than that, there are no known issue, not with S&G's. The hand converter converts 100% of hands. The card catcher is a different product. If you're having an issue with the converter, please contact support and/or use the bovada hand converter support thread on 2+2 here. Ty.

I am having an issue with the Card catcher missing hands. I had to use the converter to have the missing hands imported to PT4.

FYI, these are NL hands and unrelated to the aforementioned 08 hands. I just happened to be checking up on the thread and noticed the previous post and did a quick check my own db. not a big deal for me and doesn't appear to be related to the card catcher, just missing a handful of hands on the converter end.

Anyones card catcher ever start without being on "table session stats"? as in it includes hands that are already received and reported on a new table. Using with PT4 on Ignition.

Make sure you update to the latest version. You shouldn't have any missing hands, and if you do for some reason, please contact support and send your log. I haven't seen any hands be dropped in a very long time.

The post from someone who initially brought this up it looks like their internet is dropping packets. We're still looking into it more, but if you have the latest version and you miss something, then please click on settings in the catcher, and select create log. It will create a .zip file and if you send that to support we'll look at it.

If you're using PT4 they changed how they process rake awhile back. So if you update to their latest and the latest converter you shouldn't see any hands not converting. IF you're seeing something, then please look at the original bovada hands. Every once in a while they do have a corrupt file and we try there's several patterns we address for their corruption. But if you need further help, please post in the converter thread. I'd definitely like to see the hands you're talking about. The developers are putting out an update in the next day or so here so it would be good timing to address any potential issue. Thanks.
