Since we moved to ipoker on here, I haven't tried importing the same hands with the converter. They are on 2 different sites now, so I'd assume there would not be duplicates, but you would need to separate the player names (not create and alias). In the past we just recommended running a different database for the catcher and the converter. So you can try and import a couple of hands w/ the new version and see if it duplicates. If I have some time tomorrow I'll give it a try also.

I haven't played since Dec. Downloaded the the latest version today 2.06.09.
PokerTracker says that PokerStars is not installed. I have no hud and no hands being caught.

So I'll just say this again for everyone, it's been said in here a ton of times now since the bovada update, but review is good.

If you're updating to the new version of the bovada card catcher to fix the new Bovada software update - pay attention to all of the prompts that come up during install. It explains in detail what is changing on what you need to do. It actually forces you to check and click- yes I read and understand.

If you blow through this info, there's an online manual in the application. Top left hand side, click on online manual. There's a step by step walk through of what you need to do to set it up.

Lastly, there's also a video tutorial on the top right hand side of bcc. You can click on that and select your database and it will do a 3 minute walk through.

When you change over, it will no longer be in pokerstars hand formats. Go to config, and make sure enable PS mode is unchecked. Then you need to go to your ipoker poker site setup in your database, and add the BCC hand history folder as your auto import folder. Finally, after you do get some data from your first session, either add HERO from ipoker, or switch your target player in your database to HERO from ipoker.

All of that is in the three sections as well if you need any further clarification.

Previous update tracked sngs correctly with finish. Current update doesn't record wins/calculate entrants or prizepool correctly. All sngs and mtts now show 25 players.

I know you said before that mtt prize summary would be implemented soon, hoping this all eventually gets fixed for mtts and sngs.

Does it matter if we use iPoker or Pokerstars mode for Bovada MTTs? My HUD only seems to work for iPoker and not Poker stars mode.

Also people who were missing some hands, we finally figured out it was exclusive to HM2 because of how they were auto archiving. People running PT weren't effected or missing hands.

Correct, you need to use ipoker mode. PS mode won't be working anymore.

I've had this problem since the last update, and now the same thing with 2.07. When I click Start Catching, it comes up Bovada Card Catcher - error Please close all opened tables to start catcher. Pokerstars mode is unchecked. Doesn't matter how many times I restart the catcher or Bovada.

1. HM2 missed hands during session fixed.
2. S&G and MTT place finished fixed.

So as it turns out the auto archive process in HM2 was causing a problem, and that's why some people w/ HM2 were seeing missed hands during a session. That should be resolved now. PT4 doesn't archive until after a session is complete (which makes the most sense), but HM2 was doing it while the session was still ongoing. So if you were using HM2 with it, it should work much much better now.

I looked through the thread and saw that poster inertia had the same problem. He seemed to have gotten it solved, but I dont see where the solution was posted.

I updated all pieces of software to the latest versions to date. I open HM2, then BCC, click start catching, and then open tables.

The hands go into HM2 just fine. I have it set up for ipoker. The problem is when I try to attach the HUD to the tables. Nothing happens.

Which step am I screwing up?

So you stop and start the HUD, load table finder, and when you drag and drop the crosses to a table, what happens?

I get a pop up that asks if this is the table I want to attach to? I click yes and then nothing happens. I dont get any kind of error message, but I dont get a HUD either.

Hey Freak, tried the new update and still not recording tournament data. Played some 6 max stts and all showed 25 players and me finishing 25th.

Also curious as to why the tourney identification numbers don't match up in bovada and pt4

ive been having an issue that i havent gotten around to asking about yet.

before all the updating, i used to use the card catcher and it would miss a few hands here and there, so every few days i would just download the HH files from bovada and run them through the hand converter, then manually import them converted hands to HEM2. never had any problems with this, but now when i attempt to manually import the converted hands, it sends a bunch of duplicates into my database and royally screws up all my results. any idea why this is happening now, or how to fix it?

Can you update to the latest version, and check to make sure that in config on the catcher, that you have HM2 selected as your table. I've never seen this not work since we sold this product, so I assume some setting is off somewhere. If you still can't get it, go to config settings in catcher, click on create log. It will create a game-xx.zip (zip file). Send this to support and we can look at what setting might be wrong.

Can you send me the hand of the STT you played you said isn't working (and any details about the specific tournament - DON, triple up etc.). I just played a 6-max one right now after you said this, came up just fine as 6 player.

It's hard to say what your setup was before, but most people just use 2 different databases. You're going to get duplicates if you import into the same database using the catcher and hand converter.
