If you click try, then it runs the trial on the first screen. It won't be present if you've already installed or tun it before though.

Is there a work around on the new HEM updates? I need certain features of new NoteCaddy to have my hud working for other sites.

Not sure what you mean. You mean to view all known hole cards? You can update to the latest HM and turn off known hole cards. But there's no work around option. HM decided to block these hands for whatever reason. They actually said they would change it back, but never did. So there's nothing we can do. But you can update to the latest and it will work fine. You just can't have known hole cards on.

*Issue with HM1 importing*

Just wanted to see if anyone else using the final version of HM1 are having these issues:

Ever since updating to the final update of HM1, I've had an issue where I'll convert like 10 files with 100 hands successfully converted in the Bovada converter, but then when I go to import them into HM1 it imports 10 files but only like ~70 hands get imported. The only fix I've come up with is to re-convert the hands and then import the new hands into HM1. On the 2nd import attempt, I would then get 10 files with 30 hands imported and 70 duplicates found. So after the 2nd attempt I finally get all 100 hands imported.

I've tried deleting my databases and re-converting everything with no success. Vaccum analyze/etc, nothing will work. Got any other ideas FreakDaddy?

Thanks.

Apologies, but I'm really confused about how to see the hole cards again.

I'm having tons of issues ranging from incomplete HH uploads to no exposed hole cards.

I was using HM1 then I read the above post and thought I needed to upgrade. My hands were converting just fine up until a week or two ago. No I can only see hands of people I'm in pots with.

Also created a new database called Converted but it's missing a lot of hands. I did however change the Hero name once to see what happened and that also through things out of wack.

to see hole cards, you must have HEM version 2.0.0.8079, there is a link to this version on the converter. Since I use both the converter and card catcher, Freak told me to keep them under two separate databases. So when I play daily sessions, I load up HEM under the Hero (iPoker) database, start the card catcher, then load tables and attach huds....a few times a week I will load up the other database used for converted hands and download/convert all of them. This is the database that allows you to see hole cards. I think there's a box you must have checked in the converter to see opponents hole cards, but there's a video that is helpful too. I hope this helps.

Re-install HM1 also. There's no reason it shouldn't be importing those files. I had someone else in here that had that issue, but a fresh HM install and new DB did the trick. Go back to the previous version that was working for you?

Yeah, he's got it - thanks CS.

If you update past .8079 of HM2, you won't see hole cards and it will block imports if you have hole cards enabled. Maybe HM3 they will allow this again. I suspect they will.

Re-install didn't work. Any idea how I can get a previous version of HM1? I only see the one version on their website. And come to think of it, everything is a bit buggy in this version (i.e. hand re-player stalls when starting up the first time too). I'm going to ask them in their thread too. Thanks for your help.

I'd contact them or ask in their release forums. I looked around, but didn't see it, and I'm not sure which was the previous number before the last one released. It's been a number of years now.

Hey freakdaddy, I just bought this great program and since you are the master i come to you for advice. I can review Cash games and see all cards, because updated to the old version you posted about. When I got to the STT or MTT i cant see all the cards, even tho the hh has them, but what i did discover was one of my STTs did show all the cards. So my question is can i make them all show up? if not what makes this one show up, i could manually edit something if i knew what it was. Anyway great software thanks for the help if you can =D

In case anyone else has the same problem, here's a link to all previous HM1 versions. I'm debating whether to try one of the older versions or just keep doing the re-converting workaround that's been fixing it. If I decide to downgrade I'll post back here with the result. *Also, if anyone who successfully uses HM1 w/ the Bovada converter could post here with what version they are using I'd appreciate it.

Thanks again for your help FreakDaddy.

Can you PLEASE elaborate on this? I think this is the part that's been escaping me.

I have version .8079 of HEM2 and I still cannot see the hole cards. As far as databases go I have ONE database called MYHEM2 and I'm my current player profile has always been Hero/PokerStars. I tried changing the hero name once and I lost track of where everything was so I just keep it defaulted to the original name.

Can you please explain to me how to add databases and what not? Or even better how you have everything organized? I just started having this issue two or three weeks ago and I can't for the life of me figure out what to do.

I don't know. If you have all hole cards enabled, then you should be seeing all known hole cards whether it's cash or S&G. So I'd just double check all of your settings and make sure you do have them enabled and you have the previous version of HM2 (which I assume you're using).

And you're sure you have them enabled in settings on the converter?

I can just tell you from posts in this thread and having dealt with this countless times, 100% of the time some setting is off. Something was changed. Anytime I've taken a sample from a customer, every time they worked and then they went.. "doh, I didn't have X or Y, or I was importing from the wrong spot."

Make sure you have .8079 and they are turned on in settings on the converter. That's all that has to be set for all known hole cards to work.

Is there any easy way to remove duplicate hands once they've already been imported into Holdem manager? I have too many duplicates being listed.

Sorry, do you mean in your import folder, or when they are already imported into HM? If you mean import folder, you can set an auto archive function in HM or just delete/ remove the converted hands after import. Let me know and I can provide more guidance.

Hey sorry I'm sort of a noob here.

Do you need this software to be able to see everyone's cards after 24 hours? I know there was some commotion over all hole cards being exposed a couple years ago, was wondering if Bovada fixed it or it still exists? I can't see it on the Bovada client itself when I try to review hand history

There was no big commotion that I'm aware of. A long time back they had a security flaw, but that was a different issue. Bovada intentionally exposes all known hole cards 24 hours after a person plays a hand in an effort to reduce collusion now that their tables are anonymous. They started doing this after they went to this format.

So the hand converter can import those, and it's a setting you enable (by default enabled) in the bovada hand converter.

Was there a change in the purchasing option for the converter? When I try to register PLO to my converter, the license is for only 1 year unlike NLHE.

Yes, about 10 months ago. It's $6/yr basically after the year. It's just not profitable otherwise. If you purchased before then, it doesn't apply to you.

What version of the converter do you have? We'd have to see the original hands. It's possible there's some corruption. This doesn't seem to happen from Bovada anymore, but it would be good to check.
