ok so i downloaded version .8079 and converted 2034 hands, but when i try importing them into hm2 there are a bunch of errors and i can only see 8 hands. i followed the video tutorial and didn't change any of the default directory settings. what's the best way to figure out what the problem is?

I'm using PT3 and cash / tournament Bovada HH converter, and can't get (any more) tournaments to import to PT3. Anyone know why?

EDIT: When I import a folder of converted hands, not all show up in PT3. Does it have something to do with the timestamp screen while importing into PT3 right after importing?

Make sure you're importing from the green circled directory. If you want known hole cards on, then make sure it's set in the settings of the converter. As long as those things are correct, you'll be golden.

I'm not sure what you mean by time stamp screen. Double check that you're not importing your processed archived hands, and you're importing into PT3 from the directory you have listed that is the green circled directory.

I think this next build I'm going to move the processed folder somewhere completely separate. I know we tried that before, but I think the chance of people importing from the wrong directory decreases slightly.

I'm using pt v 4.13.5 and hand converter 1.0.40.

I've converted about 8k hands and attempted to enter them into pt4. Only 30 Hands were imported by pt4 and the rest were errors.

What other information do I need to troubleshoot this issue? I used the trial version on my computer, and had a friend convert and email me hands - neither worked. I tried importing both sets of converted hands multiple times with no success.

Do I need pokerstars setup on my computer for this software to work?

i checked and both those conditions are met but still only have 8 hands out of 2k. i sent an email to support but no response yet. hopefullly i can get at least 1 clean import before my 24 hr trial expires so i can consider purchasing.

No, you don't need pokerstars. You're importing from the wrong folder. Just go back over the steps. If you follow the tutorial, it will work 100%.

I think you're the ticket that was running the catcher and the converter (kind of important to mention this. ). Yeah, you need to run a separate database. I don't think there will be a clean way of doing it otherwise.

Hello, I am having a couple issues with converting Heads Up SNGs and importing into HEM2. I am not sure to what extent the issue is with the Card Converter or with HEM2, but so far the HEM2 support does not have the answers.

1) For some reason many of the HUSNGs tournaments will say there was a "rebuy." At first I thought this meant rematch, but it seems that there will just arbitrarily be spots where HEM2/Card Converter mark HUSNGs as having rebuys. HEM2 said they were not aware of this issue. Do you know anything about it? In the backup hand histories, I don't see any mention of a rebuy.

2) The Card Converter has some issues tagging HUSNGs. Sometimes it does not tag as "Heads Up" and it never distinguishes between Reg Speed and Turbo tournaments. Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you

Trying to use for SNG's for the first time and nothing is converting. How is game type tracked in the converter (super turbo vs hyper turbo, ect.)? Also, how is finish recorded/Money won tracked? I don't even see that info in the bovada HH.

What is the current version I should be using (I have 1.0.38)? When I click "check for updates" it tells me i am using the most current version. How do I update?

There's some HUsngs that stars doesn't have that bovada has. It should tag them all as HU's. If there's a S&G that isn't tagging correctly, then send it to our support and they can have the developers look into it. There's sometimes new formats added, so I can't say for sure what you're seeing until I can see the hands (the original unconverted hands from bovada).

There are certain things that are qued on that we use, but you're right. There are some where the info is not sent. And on those after they are imported you have to add the result. On some of the formats, this is added based on the table and result since they all have the same structure. There's a few that there's just no way to add though.

The current version is .40. You can get it from here:

There's something you're not doing correct in the import process. Checkout the tutorial video since it will go through everything step by step. But the converter works 100%, zero known issues. If you do the process correct it will convert and import.

Not sure why it wasn't working before but seems to be fine for the most part now. I converted about 60 SNG's and a few MTT's w/ no errors. However when importing to HEM i received 2 import errors. Anyway for me to find out why there were errors?

When you download the HH on a mac where do they save? I'm trying to download via mac client, convert using parallels then import into pt4 on my mac.

Cheers

On the import screen, there's an link to click on the error screen of the hands. They might be lingering issues from old hands, but if you have an error send it to support. I honestly haven't seen any with the latest version in quite some time.

I assume you mean from Bovada. It explains that in the tutorial, which I'd recommend checking out. By default it saves to c:\bovada\hand history\ (then your user ID)

What about with Mac client?

I have documents/bovadahandhistory but nothing saves into there when I download all files from Bovada

Someone posted a question about getting it to run in XP, but the question was never resolved. Does this work with .Net 4.0?

It would be nice if it were supported on XP. HEM works wonderfully on it.

I'm still having issues with the converter and PT4. Numerous duplicates and errors. Did a purge, reconverted the HHs, and still don't seem to be getting accurate results. I'm sure this is on PT4's end, but I'm not sure what to do.

The Mac client stores the histories in /Applications/BovadaPoker.app/Contents/MacOS/Hand History/

(You can use the command-G command in the Finder to go there, or when in Applications, right click on BovadaPoker.app and choose "show contents".)
