Hey Freakdaddy,

Just a couple of quick questions:
1. If I use the Bovada Card Catcher would this resolve the incomplete data issue for the MTTs?

2. If so, would I still need to use the Bovada Hand Converter?

Thanks Buddy

Too late when I wrote that. I upgraded to 4.11.11 back in August or whenever that was I pm'd you about it. And was using 1.0.32 of the converter then. All was ok then. After the last Bovada update, I stayed seeing those errors. Upgraded the converter to 1.0.35 to check for a fix and they are still there.

Mmm.... I don't think it's from the bovada update. It could be that PT decided to change their known hole cards back post HM merge. I haven't updated and tried the very latest. Why don't you try 4.11.10 of PT4 since we know that one is working. I'll take a look at the latest in the morning.

Maybe if you can send me one of those invalid pot size errors you're seeing (I'd need the original bovada hand). I just used the converter today, but not with the latest PT and it was fine as usual (with bovada update).

1) When the bovada card catcher is working for MTT's, then yes, it will resolve any incomplete info. Right now it's just working for S&G's. Part of the big challenge here was getting the info grabbed from the lobby without interfering with the user experience. It's been a bit tricky honestly. We think we have that now, so when the MTT part is out, then it will have the tourney info all complete.

2) At that point you'd only need the converter for zone poker hands. We can't grab zone hands for obvious reasons. It's not like other poker sites where there's player ID's and info remains in memory.

No errors here after the 4.20.02 update, same versions above.

Cool, thanks for the update dark. You're a good man.

Yeah, I don't have any errors here either. It's fun version tracking.

I don't have a setup for 4.11.10, 4.11.11 was what was there when I updated a few weeks ago. The hole cards are still there in the hands that imported.

I can send you the latest batch of files I ran (133 files or so). Both original and converted. Where should I send them?

Yeah, I don't see the PT 4.20.02 update anywhere either. I'm not sure where Dark_horse has that. Yeah, you can send me those files sure (original bovada ones). Send them to support. I haven't heard of anyone else having issues with the hole cards on and 4.11.11. But I'll check it out.

What would cause it to get hung up? HEM has been stuck on import in process for a while now.

This of course is after the converter was run. Is it likely something with HEM or the converter?

Ok, so I've watched the tutorial, I'm in my hand history, but there's no "download all" button like the guide says in the video.

The video only mentions ring games though. Does this work with zone?

Edit: ok so I think I realize that there's no download button because my HH isn't available yet, lol. sorry

The converter just creates a text file, it can't hang HM. So I'll go with HM. If it keeps getting stuck, just contact their support and they'll get you set.

nope i definitely did not.

i went ahead and reformatted my computer to a fresh clean install of windows 7 ultimate and it appears to be working now thanks anyway for the help. i probably encountered a 1/1000000 bug with windows.

My hand histories aren't downloading to my desktop. I am trying to import them into HEM2 but nothing is showing up in the Bovada Original Hands folder. Has anyone else had this problem?

Well... I guess that's good at least. Yeah, I didn't know where to go from there honestly. I hadn't seen or heard of any issues like that. Glad it's working now though.

Did you try requesting them from bovada, exiting the client, and then logging back in?

I haven't requested them from Bovada but I have tried exiting and reentering, even uninstalling and reinstalling the client. There all there within the Bovada client. I can go in, request download and view the text file by clicking "Open Hand History File." But for whatever reason, they're not making it on my desktop. They used to show up in the "Bovada Original Hands" folder but stopped a few months ago.

Freak Daddy,

Thanks for your help. My issues are resolved and am really excited for the Bovada Poker Cather HUD. One can only hope HM2 to allow all cards to be shown.

Thanks for your on going support and knowledge!!

You'd have to contact Bovada support. We don't have any control over hands being downloaded from them. It could be some technical issue on their end. It's very difficult to say honestly. I wish I could offer more advice here, but there's not much we can do if they aren't being downloaded.

It's a program (different than this converter), that allows you to catch bovada's hands in real time so you can launch a HUD from HM or PT. The main thread for it is here:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/45...8/index23.html

Or you can just google ace poker solutions.

No worries. I've been in touch Bovada support but they weren't much help. The problem does seem to be on their end but I figured I would try asking here.

I think you may be looking in the wrong place. If a hand history text file opens up when you click on the "Open Hand History File" button within the Bovada client I'm sure that file is already on your hard drive. Next time you do that in Notepad (or whatever program opens the text file) go to File->Save As and it will show you the folder all of the histories are in (don't actually save, just do it to see the folder). It should be C:\Bovada\Hand History\xxxxxxx\, where "xxxxxxx" is your account number.
