Yeah, you just have an old version and one before auto updates were in. Just go here, and click on download trial. Install it on top of your latest version:

Just wanted to say thank you VERY much for adding in the patch for the errors of the repeated lines in Bovada sngs. I was about to delete over 1,000 hand histories of games before you found a solution. I went ahead and merged those hand histories with errors with my entire collection, as I hope (and assume) that the patch will remain in the program forever through future updates.

Zero errors! And, I compared the pre-converted and post-converted copies of multiple tournaments, and in each one when scrolling down to the same location of the repeated erroneous lines, they were removed in the new file as if they were never in the original.

Well done!! =)

I decided to update HEM2 because I needed it for other sites, I was aware I wouldn't be able to see hole cards. However now every hand has an error and won't important. Did I misunderstand or have I messed something up?

Well, it should detect that and disable your settings for this, but maybe it didn't. Click on settings in the converter, and then uncheck show known hole cards. That will fix the errors. Bummer that you had to update.

I got 2 pages into reading this and couldn't find any links. I'm just trying to find a replayer. Do I need to get Pokertracker or Holdem Manager? Or is there a naked replayer out there that works with Bovada HH's?

Hey Feakdaddy, was wondering if anybody was having problems with pt3 after importing hands with the converter. I just downloaded about 10 hours(5days)of hands and now when I click the session tab it comes up in red and saids error. Any idea what happened or how to fix? Everything else seems to work fine but that tab. Lmk if you have a fix. Thx in advance!

No, I haven't heard of anything like this before. Are you able to see known hole cards, because you might need to shut those off on the converter. I'm not really sure what you mean about the error exactly. Maybe you can post a screenshot and the error and that might help.

After you uncheck, do you have to re-convert all the HHs then so they don't show the hole cards? If so, how do you do that?

I unchecked the box and still am getting an error message in HM2.

Sure, if you can send it through the support form they will send it to me. You can attach it on the form here: http://acepokersolutions.com/contact.html

I'll take a look and e-mail you back.

Yes, correct, you need to re-convert. I'd suggest making two new directories in the converter. Then click convert folder and convert all of your files again that are in the "move original bovada hands to" folder. Then import your new convert from the new folder you created. That will do the trick.

Would it be possible to alter the program making the hole cards exactly the same as what is shown in regular pstars hands(or have an option to set this up)? When I changed to up to date HEM2 I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to see villian's holecards at showdowns with me.

I'm not sure I know what you mean. PM me about this. We had the converter setup like this, but HM can block them and make them invalid if they are showing them all (just using simple logic in their code). Right now, if you use the 8079 or earlier version of HM2 then the known hole cards will work. Anything after that and it won't work.

if its not possible to see known holecards in HEM, is it possible to import into PT3 and see holecards when I review hands?

Running into some odd issues importing to PT4.

A couple times I've tried to "get hands from disk" and it imports just errors and some duplicates.

If I empty and clean the database, and then reconvert from "old bovada hands", they will all import fine for the most part.

Am I doing something wrong with the converter? Or am I missing something about PT4?

If you run the converter, it will detect your HM version. If it's 8079 or later, it will give you a message to download 8079 if you want known hole cards. As far as I know PT3 should still be ok, but you need to have known hole cards turned on in settings in the converter.

It's hard to say, but perhaps you're pointing it to the wrong directory. I'd try cleaning out your converted folder first. Either just delete all of the converted files (not the original ones), or move them to a new folder. Then start importing from their. You probably have some old or lingering bad files in your directory. We're going to add a maintenance option at some point here soon.

Is it a problem if both the Card Catcher and Converter are outputting to the same folder?

All the same, I created a new one for my converter files today. The import to PT4 worked alright, 402 hands 8 errors 167 duplicates. (I'm not sure what duplicates implies).

arite, trying to move away from hem1 to pt4.

I have my hero name set in the hand converter. all directories are aligned and i'm importing into PT4.

after import correctly recognizes thousands of games with seemingly no errors, PT4 won't recognize the hero name. i can't find the results or HHs in pt4 anywhere even though import is clearly recognizing my processed hands.

thoughts?

Well, if you're using the same username, then you'll get duplicate data, which you probably don't want. If you use a different username for one of the programs, then it's fine.

If you're sure that's the name you used, then it would have to be there, assuming you're looking under cash or tournaments, depending on your import. If you still can't find it, perhaps create a new database and import from scratch. SQL does get corrupt from time to time.
