Every time I convert hands I get lots of errors in HM2, making the data unusable. How can I fix this?

Update to the latest converter version. Run version 8079 of HM2 or earlier if you want known hole cards to show. Otherwise, click on settings in the converter, and uncheck show known hole cards. HM blocked these some time back. So if you are getting errors it's because of this block.

Is there a fix for this problem yet? I will snap-buy the converter as soon as bovada fixes their HHs or you guys work around it.

Ya, I know it's annoying. I wish they would just fix it. The hand will still import and show up FYI. I think we're going to have a work around in place early next week. I know it's high on the developer's que right now.

If you have a fairly new version of the converter, it should auto detect your version and provide you the link. It looks like the previous one posted is correct though.

every time i import HU turbo HH it doesnt show the correct results. it will show the correct number of games but the results will be completely wrong. any idea on how to fix this?

I put up a version with the bovada tournament fix. I'd like some people to try this out though because I only have 1 file with the problem, unless someone wants to send me some more. You can download it here and the logic should be solid.

Check the original bovada hand for errors. They have a few bugs on at the moment that we're making work around for (at least the ones we can address).

Great job, thanks! I just imported 5213 hands from hyper turbo SNGs and only one error came up. The original Bovada hand had a line that read "Big Blind : Bets chip info(timeout) 90" which seemed to be the problem.

what errors should i be looking for? i just purchased this software and realized its kind of a waste of money if it doesnt convert them properly. it makes my stats completely inaccurate.

When you import them into PT4 or HM2 it will say something like Error: Invalid Pot Size or Error: Small Blind not posted. It will be in bright red so you'll see exactly how many errors there are. And finally it's in the summary to. With the exception of the MTT histories for every 1000 hands I might get like 3 errors. I don't really know exactly, but it's not enough to be that relevant. The most recent fix has to do with Bovada messing up their hand histories.

I tried the new version on a couple of MTT files, and so far so good. Unfortunately I'm having other issues that's preventing me on uploading all the files I have. Hopefully I'll get it fixed soon.

I was looking at buying either this or the card catcher or both. Is there any advantage to this converter over the card catcher, assuming we are on the latest version of hem2? I assumed the main benefit of this software compared to the catcher would be seeing all hole cards. Is there another benefit?

We can't control if bovada has bugs in their hand histories. We do the best we can to correct them during the conversion process. You shouldn't be getting any error with the latest version, and if you do, then just send them to us and we'll look at them.

Correct. With the converter you can see the known hole cards, and then it will also convert zone if that's of any importance, since the catcher can't grab it.

im not getting an errors but when i import a rematch against someone in a HU sng it wont show my finishing position and just considers it a loss.

Can you check in the original bovada hand and see if it says what your finish is?

I too am having the problem of all hands showing as errors, but when I click on the "settings" button in the Bovada converter all it gives me the option for is "Import Zone as Zoom." It's quite likely I'm blind and just not seeing it, but I'm using version 1.0.18a.

Is there a way for me to fix this by unclicking an option in my version of bovada converter or do I need to go to an older HEM?
