Having said that, the only problem is actually with Bovada & their inability to actually give you ALL of the hands/sessions after you request them. I just spoke to a "supervisor" at Bovada poker & they recommended that YOU DO NOT USE the "Download All" button. She said that you should individually request each session - she admitted there might be some kind of glitch with the download all button where it does not work.

I can confirm this method at least seems to work for now because I almost instantly got a bunch of hands I had been waiting for for 24-48 hours.

I hope this helps. Freak - If you can confirm what I said is true, you may want to consider changing your tutorial. (I use Holdem Manager fwiw) Please let me know if you learn anything else.

Thanks again for the converter. Well worth the price!
Ok, thanks guys. I play on there and I've always used the download all (along with other people I know) and this has never been an issue. I've been sick this past week so I haven't played, so perhaps something changed. I'm going to check into it this week as well with Bovada.

I'm assuming it's something recent simply because no one has mentioned this until just recently (this past week). I guess the temp solution is do the individual request. Like I mentioned earlier, I always click download all, then I'll exit and reload and they will all show up on my system. Never had an issue with it once and I've been doing it for several months now.

Quick update: I did a download all again today from a few of the last days, and had no issues. All hands copied to the hard drive fine. I also e-mailed Bovada support and awaiting an answer about any possible issues.

Like I said though, I think if it is a problem for you for some reason, download the sessions one at a time. It will be a few extra clicks, but still worth it.

The word in the unofficial support thread in Internet Poker is that Bovada fixed the problem in the last day or so. I know yesterday the hands that I had that where stuck on "download requested", downloaded yesterday. Even the one that was past the 7 day download period.

Yes, this is the same response I eventually got from them as well too. It looks like you can't do a download all for a 31 day period anymore, but 7 days should work fine.

Any update on this? I'd be happy with anything.

I've downloaded the files, converted and imported them but when I look for "hero" in HM or HM2, I'm unable to find it. Does anyone have a solution?

No, not yet. It will happen at one point, but it's lower on the priority list at the moment.

As long as they are cash games, then you should find them by doing a hero search (or whatever name you used). Are you absolutely sure they imported?

FreakDaddy, I emailed the sales department today about testing. Just checking if you or someone else would likely receive it. Thanks!

I'm pretty certain. It said it imported into HM2 as well. The trial is over now so I cannot check.

If you definitely want it, then purchase it and we will get it to work. I have no way to reset the trial or I would. As long as they are cash games, I'm 2000% certain it will work. I'd re-watch the tutorial video too just to make sure you were grabbing from the correct directory.

1) Download Bovada hands
2) Convert using the converter
3) Import into HM from the imported directory

That's it. Sometimes people import from the processed hand directory (or whatever we call it now), and it will say it's imported from HM, but those are not the correct files. Those are actually the original Bovada hands. We have 2-3 messages in the software explaining this plus the video, but sometimes people do it any ways. Once you get it down once, it's super simple.

Yes, no problem. It only supports cash games right now. We will have S&G's and MTT's soon though.

Which specific site are you playing on? Canadian, Bovada?

Picked up the combo version today! When I read the email I do not see the link for the book download. The text is in blue but no link attached; what needs to be done to download vol1? Thanks!

Send an e-mail back to the sales e-mail and they can resend the book no problem.

Are we supposed to get a book if we bought the combo?

btw, I keep getting "incomplete hands" when importing into HM1, can you tell me how I can resolve this issue? if I set the auto import folder to it, it keeps importing over and over but the incomplete hands still remain, and I'm missing a lot of hands.

I am having the same problem as iGolf. It says imported, (well at least file imported, but no hands?) but I can' find "Hero".

I am trying to import the "BovadaHandHistory...." files

Yes.

Did you download tournament hands? If you only have cash, it will work fine. Otherwise it will leave the hands and keep them their and try and import over and over. You need to move them. I'd suggest clearing the folder, and when you do your next import make sure you only have cash hands in there.

If you check out the 1 min tutorial video for PT it will walk you through what to do. You need to find Hero for Poker Stars. HM you don't need to indicate Poker Stars, you just add Hero (or whatever name you used in the converter).

You've already imported these hands. It looks like one is giving an error. It may be incomplete. If you send it to me (PM me your e-mail), I can have the developer look at it.

Thanks, I quite certain don't have tourney hands because I don't play tourneys. I will try clearing the folder and report back. It's been quite great so far.

Bodog changed their hand history format the other day, so a new fix is up. Just click check for updates in the converter if it doesn't auto find it for you.

It might have been their recent change too. They just changed it two days ago, so maybe try and run the update and convert them again.
