You can pick which folder everything happens in: Which folder to process, where to place converted files, where to place the originals, etc. I develop software and people who don't use common sense piss me off by wasting my time.

Have you looked at the software for more than 5 seconds.
Why dont you STFU! I dont need some smartass who has no ****ing idea what I've been dealing with chime in with insults. EAD!

2) The converter doesn't over write anything. Nothing is ever deleted. Your hands are moved from the bovada folder, to the processed hand folder. These are the original files. It explains this in the tutorial.
3) No, it does not place them in the processed hand folder. You are getting confused. It converts them and places them in the first folder listed in the program, and the original hands are moved from the bovada folder to the processed folder. If you have an issue with any of the folder locations, you can change them in the program and make them whatever name or location you want.
4) You probably had a bad connection? I think you just e-mailed me and said it worked now.
Yes. Thanks for response. For most of the morning I was getting the registration prompt and could not login with a server error. I had no connection issues on my end with my PC. I will take a screen shot if this reoccurs.

My issue seems to be with the Bovada downloads. The first time everything was fine. Second time I had issues with deleted and missing files that I am addressing with them. I got conflicting responses from CS on the 7 vs 31 days. On my most recent download a few hours ago, I actually was able to get downloads back to 10/04/2013 which is past the 7 day window. So that issue is open. Thanks for your help. And Bovada has been very responsive.

You're welcome. Sometimes, you need to exit bovada, and re-login and you'll see your downloads appear quicker. Nothing on either side will get deleted and the time frame set by them is 7 days now.

Thanks. I have the original HHs from Bovada and the converter files. I created a couple of new folders and then used your converter without any issues or problems. Have been working with Bovada to try to get new downloads with out success thus far. But, Bovada is extremely responsive and is working on the issue. They have very good CS and respond within minutes or hours and seem available 24/7. In an industry of scumbags they are a breath of fresh air.

i'm almost positive the HH's don't download until you restart the program and login again. they basically insta DL after you login.

Sounds like you're getting close now. If you have any issues, just let me know.

They just take a long time before they are qued back to your local system for whatever reason. Logging in and back out some how triggers this que. I'll request, and then plan a session and they will be downloaded when I'm done. But if you want them right away, the easiest way is to log out and then back in.

Does this no longer work with pt3? I converted (i think) successfully but pt3 does not recognize the format in the output directory.

Nope, it works. You're just importing from the wrong directory. Check out the video tutorial. It will explain it step by step.

Is there a way to isolate sessions on a table per table basis? I have 3-4 tables of heads up in a single session and they are all being merged into a single session. I guess this wouldn't be that big of a deal if there were usernames, but since we only have aliases, it makes it impossible to get stats on a session to session basis based on who we are playing against, as well as our own stats

I use HM2 btw

Hmm... there might be a way to filter for it, I'd have to think about it. I can't do anything about how HM2 merges the data though. We are adding a feature to have an option to name the users at the table randomly and keep their stats separate. When this goes in, it should fix this for you. I'm not sure when they are adding this exactly though in terms of priority, but I know it's on the developers list.

PT4 doesn't include duplicates does it?

For example, If I get hands from last 3 days... but I already downloaded hands from those days.... then convert in to PT. It read as duplicates. Just making sure that results and hands won't be flawed.

Thanks.

I e-mailed, and posted in here about this, but I'll post it again.

If you updated to .18 or later, then there's a chance that you will have to re-register the converter. When we added tournament support, we had to chance the license. There was no way around it. Not everyone is effected, but if you were someone who was, then you can do 1 of the following.

1) Have you license reset or delete the license and re-register by doing:

1. Close the converter.
2. Delete the file called 'BovadaHandConverter.lic' stored in 'C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses' and try registering again. This file is hidden by default, so most people think that no files exist in that folder. In Windows 7, when you have windows explorer open, simply click ORGANIZE in the top left menu, and then select 'Folder and search options'. Go to the VIEW tab, and then check 'Show hidden files and folders' and uncheck 'Hide protected operating system files' in 'Folder Options'.
3. If you are using XP check for this folder for the ‘BovadaHandConverter.lic’: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\
4. Run Bovada Converter. Re-register it.

If you have it registered on 2 systems, you may have to do both processes. Once you are reset, you'll be good to go from now on out.

Who did you contact? Every email that is sent to support is ticketed and responded to. If you e-mailed me or sales, I have been gone the last couple of days. Always send mail to support, because I will not always be there to answer.

No, but I believe there's a way to force it to re-load then hand, but even then I don't think it will duplicate it.

Nm, I found it. You wrote sales 30 minutes before you posted this. Just FYI, like I said in here, and I'm just saying this so you get the best possible response and service, e-mail support. Not Sales, not me. They will forward stuff, but you're just multiplying channels that have to get to you. Any ways, I answered your e-mail now.

I appreciate the response to my first comment. I have another one that is sort of related: Could you make a feature where we are able to rename villains, the same way we have the option to rename ourselves?

I have to resort to doing this, which isn't that big of a deal but making a ton of aliases might get grueling:

If my pic poses the best solution to the problem, consider it a suggestion for users rather than a request lol I was damn near about to go through the whole HH I wanted to review independently and rename the villain "Reg1" for every single hand. Glad I didn't waste my life doing that

Yes, if you scroll up, that's exactly what I was referring to in my previous response to you. This is an upcoming feature, and there will be an option to turn on/off randomly creating new villains for each hand, or lumping them all together.
