Has anyone had any luck getting Bovada / Ignition hands imported into H2N? I've been using this converter successfully with HEM2 by converting to Pokerstars format. But with H2N it's missing hands and giving incorrect results. Any advice would be appreciated.

It doesn't support H2N. Just HM and PT.

The hands probably are corrupt. It's difficult to say, but I'd check the hands you downloaded. Make sure your settings in the converter are correct as well. The database setting is set to hm2.

I've got an issue. If I use the old version of HM2 for known hole cards, then I can't use the card grabber for the HUD. Is there any workaround?

You can still use the HUD w/ HM2 and the catcher, but you have to use table finder and drag the cross hair finder to the table. You won't get the HUD to auto launch w/ the older version of HM2.

I'm sure I could figure this out if I went through the older posts on this thread but I don't feel like doing that. I'm looking for a HH converter that can convert my HHs from Ignition and bovada to HM2. Is this the Ignition/ Bodog HH Converter that comes up on the Ace Poker Solutions site? If not where can I find it?

I assume bodog also includes bovada but I didn’t see anything that specifically said bovada is why I’m asking

Yes, it converts hands for bodog, bovada and ignition.

What's really odd about this is that the hand histories will convert eventually. Seems like I have to wait for a day or 2 after I download them and then it will work fine. Anyone else having this problem? I'm not too concerned though if there isn't a solution since, like I said, the HHs will convert eventually.

Somethings going on at your end. It's hard to say what w/o seeing a log. Maybe it's a cache issue. But just to be clear, you're saying that the hands from the poker site won't convert initially - not import - but convert correct? I want to make sure we're using the correct terms. Some people say convert when they really mean import.

Hi, when I use the ignition converter to convert a fresh batch of hands, say 2000, the process goes quickly then when I import into my HM2, I'll get a report something like this: Hands imported 2000 errors 0 duplicates 0 the whole process takes seconds. Now, when I then import the same batch into PT4, I'll get a report that looks like this: Hands imported 1989, errors 55,248 duplicates 500,133. Needless to say, this pt4 import takes at least 15 minutes.
Any hints on how I can make the pt4 import more efficient?

open notepad and input this

move /-y "E:\hh\converted\*.txt" "E:\hh\Processed"
pause

change the directories to your converter output folder and where you would like your archive to be.

Save the file as a .bat and run it when you are done importing HHs

You have to convert the original hands into HM format, or PT format. They are different, and they will cause errors if you're taking HM converted hands and trying to import them into PT.

Sorry if it's been asked before, but what would be the reason for tournament end times to be imported incorrectly?

For example: there was a SNG I started at 8:30, and it ended at 9:00. But after import, PT4 says the SNG started at 8:30 and ended at 9:59.

Another on a different day started on 1:38, and ended at 2:02. PT4 says it started at 1:38, and ended at 3:02.

Is there a reason PT4 would artificially add an hour? And no, Daylight Savings Time isn't involved, these tournaments were a couple weeks ago.

Could be timzone offset setting in PT4. Could be how they track them based on hour blocks. It could be local and poker site time stamps are set different. I'm not 100% sure honestly.

*** SUMMARY ***

I am saving this file as is into the suggested auto-import folder (which accurately does record my Regular cash perfectly). The hands are definitely not then auto-imported into HM2 which I'm not sure if they are meant to or not however if I manually import these files chosen into HM2 I get files being imported yet no hands being recorded.

I'm sure I am just missing some crucial part but for the life of me can't figure it out.

Hope that make sense and thank you in advance, really appreciate it.

My best advice is watch the tutorial video that's located on the main interface of the converter. It will walk you through what to do because from the above you're mixing too many terms for me to give you accurate advice.

The process is, download hands from ignition, convert them using the converter, import them into HM2 from the import folder (the one that is circled on the hand converter interface).

Hi, I'm having an issue downloading from Ignition. When I select "Download All," the Download All button doesn't disappear like it usually does. Some of my hands download just fine but others continue to say available for download. This continues to occur even after I open and close the client. I called Ignition support who reset my hand histories but I continue having this issue. Is there anything on my end that I can try? For example, how would I go about clearing my cache?
Thanks

If I manually download hands from Ignition, do I have to use the converter prior to importing them into HEM2? If not, what is the process to import these hands into my HEM2 database?

I am downloading the hand histories and requesting HEM2 to read the files to import to the database, but no hands show although the files are detected.

What is the process I should be following to manually import Bovada hands?

Not that I'm aware of. I'd suggest downloading each session instead of using the download all. There's probably bugs in how they grab and group all of the files. I've heard other people have similar issues in the past when they tried download all.
