Unless something has recently changed, yes. They've worked for quite some time.

Can I use the latest version of HEM 2 as long as I uncheck the "Enable known hole cards" box on the converter? My hand histories are still getting errors. Or should I just check the box on the converter and then stick with the old version of HEM 2?

You can use the latest and uncheck the option. But it will work either way. There's something else that's not being done right, or the hands themselves from ignition were not correct. The converter itself works 100%. There's no bugs/issues.

Hmm, that's not working for me for some reason. Well, not a big deal for now. The old HEM2 version and checking the box is working perfectly fine so I'll just stick with that for now. Thanks for the quick response!

My converter (v. 1.0.53) is not converting my MTT hand histories. The MTT hand histories are still in the original Ignition Folder.

Probably your MTT license expired. Check at the top of the converter to see if it says it's registered for tournaments.

Registered for tournaments. The hands transferred from their original folder to the process folder by Ignition Hand Converter. The HM import isn't pickup up the tournament hands, but it's picking up the cash game hands. Is there a setting I need to adjust differently for Tournament Hand imports?

No, as long as it's registered then it should work fine. Maybe double check the original hands. Make sure nothing is off. Nothing for the hand histories has changed in quite some time to this point.

when opening hand converter I'm being prompted for my registration. I believe I am lifetime subscriber, where do I find my serial number?

Can't figure out why the tournaments aren't showing up in HM2 when the cash games show up as expected. The hand converter moved the tournament hands into the same folder as the cash games. Is there a FAQ or troubleshooting thread you can point me towards?

This thread is for troubleshooting. Is your HM2 username set in tournaments to the correct player (hero)? Cash games and tournament player ID's are set separately in Hm2.

still configuring but I was under the assumption my converter was a lifetime license, I just saw it actually only lasts a year. $38 for the combo licence, I guess it could be worse.

When I purchased it (Ignition converter combo $37.99) I tweeted and posted on Facebook before checking out. It said the discount would be applied but it never was, I was charged $37.99

It's something like $13 to renew for the year. If your license expired, you should have a button that says renew and it will take you to a page to renew at the discounted rate. As far as FB message on discount, I think there's some browser pop-up plug-ins that cause an issue. Any ways, contact support and they can refund you the difference.

Hey freakdaddy, sorry if this is a silly question but I'm a software noob.

If i revert HM2 to an earlier version (to be able to import know hole cards), will that affect the database at all? (I dont want to risk losing anything) I know this is more of a HM2 question but since the prompt comes from the ignition hand converter I thought I'd ask here.

I've never seen it cause an issue, and we have a ton of customers downgrade. But as always, just make a backup before hand any ways. It's always smart to have it just in case.

Did Ignition change their hand histories very recently? The hand converter was working fine at the end of January, but it doesn't seem to be converting any of the Zone poker games I played in the last few days.

To clarify, when I click "Convert Folder" the results come up with the correct number of files found and processed but under hands found/processed, it is blank.

I get about 1 email or post of these a day believe it or not. People accidentally import the wrong folder, or files, or something.

But yeah, the hand histories haven't changed. Glad you figured it out.

When I am using the converter for my zone hands, the all - in ev is the same as my won no matter what. How do I fix this?

If you have all known hole cards turned on, you can't calculate all-in EV because you know all of the cards at the table. If that's an important stat for you, then turn known hole cards off in settings on the converter.

I did this, purged my hands, and re-converted and it still doesn't show ev.

You'll have to contact pt4 then. We just convert the hand history, we don't have any control over how pt4 is handling that data. I've converted tons of hands w/o known hole cards on and it shows EV. Maybe there's another setting you don't have on in Pt4. It's hard to say honestly.

Aaargh, it's happening again. Usually, it worked a few hours after I downloaded the hand histories but now it's stuck just processing the files again with no hands. I'm definitely directing it to the correct folder. Any ideas?

Check your Ignition hand folder make sure hands are there and have data.

The converter is just a dummy converter. It takes in data and spits it out. It doesn't have any control over the original hand data.
