Sorry, I was a little tired when I posted. It was in PT4, but I noticed only later that I had a tag checked, which filtered out every hand.

Thanks!

SNG Yes. MTT's almost no sites include results. so it will import all of your info, and you can edit the result and add any winnings.

Hi, I'm having basic problems that I haven't had before. I can see my downloaded hands in c:\IgnitionHandHistory\my ID#. When I select, "Convert Folder," and point it to the above directory, I get Files Found 959, Files Processed 959, File Errors 0 but then nothing else at all. No hands found etc.

When I go to my PT4 and select, Play Poker then Get Hands From Disk then Select Directory, I point it to Documents>IgnitionHandHistory and select ok. The single red message I get is - There are no files to import.

So how do I get my converted hands to go from c:\IgnitionHandHistory\my ID# to Documents>IgnitionHandHistory ?

I've done this numerous times and never had troubles but now I'm missing some super simple basic thing.

When you go to site settings, there's a location to move your auto import files to a new directory and a checkbox. I forget which database you're on, or I'd give you more specifics. But this isn't something I'd recommend doing any ways. It's better to just manually move them every so often.

This is all talk about above in this thread. But essentially you need to clean out your converted hands folder. I assume you mean, the converted number, on import doesn't match with what HM2 shows you on the import screen. The above is the number one cause. How many hands are you off?

I assume you mean this:
c:\Ignition\HandHistory\my ID#

So you convert from there, and then you import from the directory you have set in the hand converter that is circled in green and says... import from here. I don't know what you have that set to, it sounds like you changed the default location. Check that folder location, make sure you have hands there.

The directory circled in green is this (cut and pasted):C:\Users\Glenn\Documents\IgnitionHandHisto ry
This is the directory I point my PT4 to but I get the message that no files are found.

After converting the folder, my hands are still in c:\Ignition\HandHistory\my ID#. But the directory C:\Users\Glenn\Documents\IgnitionHandHistory is empty.

edit - ignore the space between the o and r in history. This is an error with 2plus2 or the cut and paste function.

Your hand converter is only registered for cash games right now. So the STT hands you're trying to convert, won't convert. If you had a registered tournament license, it might have expired (it should tell you this though). The other option is it just didn't validate for some reason and you just need to re-register it (or perhaps reset and then re-register).

Ha! Ha! Thank you so much, I was going completely insane. Ok I just reregistered with my old tournament serial number and I now see that at the top of the converter it says cash holdem\tourney. Hopefully everything will now work.
Thanks again.

edit - I very recently purchased the cash and I must have done something odd to make the tourney part disappear.

no worries. Ya, not sure what happened, maybe you registered in the wrong area. But glad it's working now.

Hi, when I run an "All Players" report on PT4, I notice that each player is assigned what looks like a unique ID. Does it do any good if I sort players based on VPIP to analyze tendencies of loose players etc. or does this not work with Ignition?

You can do any kind of analysis PT will allow you. The question is more about the relevancy of small samples on Ignition. But yes, what you're asking is possible if PT reporting allows it.

Yes, but you have to convert the hands, and if you're using HM2, you have to use version .8079 or earlier for known hole cards, or you can use PT4 with any version.

Hey guys,

Over the weekend, I've noticed that the My C Allin-Adj column hasn't been calculating for my hands in the past 3-4 days on Poker Tracker 4. It's the column that's your EV for a hand once you go all in. Anyone else notice this error?

No, they never opened this back up. Not sure why. Only when you use the previous version we link to in the converter.
