I just got done testing a batch and it worked perfect. I tested with both PT4 and HM2. Also the time offset works perfect now, but you already knew that. It is weird, HM2 corrects the time automatically but with PT4 I have to use -3. It is nice having that option in settings.

If you do get duplicates you will not know till you import into HM2 or PT4. But hopefully Ignition took care of this for good now.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I'm getting some mixed feedback now on Ignition's last update. It seems most people's hands are fine, but I've heard 2 now that still have some duplicates. Still trying to sort out if they old hands or actual duplicates like Ignition was doing in the original hand file.

Is there any concern with using the grabber on ignition? I downloaded the trial and loved it but don't want to be violating the rules and risk my funds.

Wrong forum thread, but there's no issues with using the catcher. People have been using it for the last couple of years, and HUD's are run on there w/o issue. We've never had any reported issues on there, and they were more concerned about accumulated player tracking, which you cannot do.

Will Bovada Hand Converter still work? Are they the exact same software? Or do I need the Ignition Converter now?

It was working for me a week ago, but now it hasn't worked since 12/3.

Yes, Ignition messed up their hand histories. They fixed those now so it should work fine.

Nope... I haven't had anyone say anything about that. They've always converted fine (for several years), but perhaps something is messed up when Ignition "fixed" their update. If you send some hands to support we can take a look at them. They have to be the original ignition hands.

hello, It looks like my hands are importing fine, but for some reason the duplicates are huge and taking so long like 125,000 hands worth any idea what this is about? Anyways..my main question problem is this with tournaments..

The converter converts the hands fine, but for some reason on some of them the last hand (in this case when there is a payout) looks a little weird and causes the HEM database to not recognize the cash/payout.. here is an example:

I noticed at the top of the HH the blinds are messed up: No Limit (0/0.00)
Compared the the previous hand before it : No Limit (400000/800000)

So basically on this hand, the blind thing is screwed up or something, but HEM2 doesnt have this hand in the database, the previous hand,,shows as the Final hand in the tournament.


maybe that is what is throwing it off? Not sure why it would do this...any help please? really makes it difficult to keep track of some important numbers when the cashes arent recorded correct. Thanks

Hey, I play cash on ignition. I imported my hands from last week and theres a significant number missing. Can't figure out if its a problem with the converter, ignition or HEM. Has anyone reported something similar?

I'd clear your history folder. Ignition had issues with a lot of their hands creating duplicated, and you probably have some of those hands lingering in your folders. I'd start fresh to make sure you don't have anymore of these since their issue has been resolved now and duplicated shouldn't be an issue anymore.

As far as tournaments, is this a S&G? MTT's have never had payout amounts. Those need to be added manually after the tournament is done. But S&G's are calculated by the database actually.

We haven't had any bugs with the converter in maybe 2 years.

It's probably a download issue on Ignition's side. Make sure your hands are actually there and have been downloaded. The actual conversion process is 100% accurate assuming the hand data from ignition is ok.

I followed the tutorials but am having trouble importing hands as well as getting the HUD to show up.

Could me playing from Bodog (Im canadian) have something to do with it?

Hi, I'm getting a ton of duplicates so I'd like to make clear that I'm understanding your advice that I bolded above. Do I go to C:>Users>Joe>IgnitionHandHistory and then delete all the days of information in this folder?

For those getting duplicates are you actually missing hands? I get duplicates but all my hands are still there.

I was still getting duplicates after the update. I wrote them and they reset my hand histories and that fixed it.

Before you do this make sure you clean up your files. So you are sure you start fresh. What I do is after downloading hand histories. I convert them. Then I take the original hand history file and file it away in a directory. I have a cash directory and a tournament one. With directories inside by stake. This keeps things neat. You can also refile the converted file if you want. But I don't. Either way, I make sure both directories are empty. The IgnitionHandHistory directory and the Ignition Original hands directory. Re file. It is a good habit to do this if hand histories are important to you.

Then write Ignition and tell them you still get duplicates. They will claim it is fixed, but for me they did do a reset. It has worked since.... But we will see.....

The hand converter doesn't allow you to run a HUD. Are you talking about the bodog card catcher? If so, there's another thread, if not, the converter will just import your hand data for review. No HUD.
