^^^ good suggestion.

It seems their last update fixed some of the issues, but they are still outstanding problems with a lot of the hands. So I guess the good news is they are on it, but didn't quite get it completely resolved yet.

I just downloaded a batch and out of like 500 hands that I played only 24 were imported lol

Yeah that's no good. What I'm hearing for most people after the updates it went from only a couple of hands to 50-70% import.

Hi,

I have been a customer with Bovada for years before the switch from the Bovada poker room to ignition and I am very disappointed that the hand histories are not available for download anymore. When I go to download the hand histories the same hand is duplicated over and over numerous times.

Being able to download accurate hand histories is what the players are able to do to protect themselves from collusion or other suspicious activity at the tables.

When will this problem be resolved?

Thank you,

Yeah, updates on major poker forum sites take a while. They had to do a lot of testing to ensure there aren't some major issues. The fix is probably already done, but I'd imagine their testing process is long.

I've played on Bodog/Bovada/Ignition since '06 and I've never once thought they had an extensive testing process. **** I just posted OOP for like 80 millionth time.

update today (fingers crossed)

There was just a fairly big update when I loaded up Ignition. Anyone have an idea if it fixed the hand histories?

HH might be fixed! Just got a software update, requested a session from a few days ago, and got the normal amount of hands.

I've been only requesting HH as they get to the 7 day limit (?). If it's fixed, I hope Ignition can reset the downloads. Would be nice to see my heater.

Can someone tell me how to get the ignition converter? I have the Bovada one fully paid for. I tried inserting my keys to the ignition one it says it's invalid.

did a test with one HH file and imported successfully, then ran the rest of the files, 8k hands imported and only 3 skipped. looks like we're back in business.

If only we'd could get HHs from >7 days back.

edit- a bit premature there. the above #s were from the converter. PT4 imported 7k hands with 1k duplicates. It appears specific table sessions are to blame since either all hands are imported or all hands are duplicates. All the duplicates came from files at the backend of the import so I'm thinking Ignition only corrected back X days or some thing like that.

Yes, that's what we're seeing as well. But it does seem the new ones are ok so far, so we'll keep monitoring it.

Is everyone's hands converting ok again since the last update? Hands seem ok so far, but just want to make sure.

Cool, thanks. Ya, all reports so far have been good. There's only so much coverage we can get as a team in a short period of time since there's a lot of different formats and hand types to cover after their update fix.

Good. If anyone runs into anything though, please let me know.

Has anyone contacted them about doing that?

Yes. Support and manager told me they can't do it.

I pointed out to them that they reset 30 days of hands for me a few months ago but they didn't budge.

Maybe what they mean by they can't do it is the old hands are broken. Makes sense since the first batch of hands people got working had half broken hands and half good ones. Unless the bad ones were already in the folder. Then it wouldn't make sense. Either way it is probably better to assume those hands are gone. Lame.

If one of you is good at conning people you can try that. I am not good at it. You can try a sob story, act all broken up about it, you need the hands for taxes or something, your computer broke.... Come up with something. Just don't bring up you want the hands since they were broken.

Hehe... ok, that was a needed laugh.

If someone is able to get them to do it, please let me know so I can at least pass that info onto others. I wouldn't hold my breath on it, but you never know. It is the season of giving, so anything can happen.

Doesn't seem to be fixed 100% yet. I just downloaded and converted a bunch of hands I played on 11/20 and I got 25% duplicates total. 10 hand history files total, 3 of the hand history files were entirely duplicates, 1 was 50% duplicates, and another was about 30%. Ridiculous that ignition can't get this 100% corrected.

You are the only one that has reported the problem is not fixed. Are you sure you did not have old hand histories in the hand history folder. Check the Ignition Original Hand Histories folder (The folder the converter puts the original hands) Take out the most recent ones. The ones dated after the last update. (Forgot date) And reconvert them.

Yes I am sure I did not have any old histories in the folder, these were all hands from 11/20. I had converted hands on 11/18 that worked fine and the converter moves histories after conversion so nothing would have been left in the folder. I went through the original ignition files for the 11/20 and there are hands duplicated as I described in my first post.

In fairness to ignition they reset the hand histories for these so I could redownload and try again and this time they worked fine. The only thing I did differently was this time I downloaded them one at a time rather than pressing the "download all" button. Something must of gotten corrupted on the first go around. Will post again if I have any more issues.

Yeah, I just got the same issue when importing hand from 11/21-11/23. 1500 of 5300 hands were duplicates.
