Is it possible to use the ignition card grabber, and then after sessions, download and import the hands using ignition hand converter, having all known hole cards filled in? or do you sort of have to chose one program or the other?

Exactly. We'll know here shortly. Anyone who played yesterday after the update and has downloaded some hands now let us know. I don't have any current hand data from yesterday. It would have to be 24 hours after the update yesterday.

Does it matter if the hands you played were from after the update? Shouldn't the new update (assuming they fixed it) just download the hands correctly? Like if you played hands on Nov. 2nd and never downloaded them yet in hopes they fix it. Shouldn't those hands download correctly now?

Very unlikely. The original file is most likely corrupt. The hands were never recorded properly to begin with. I don't think it was the download function that was broken, It was the record function. If that makes sense.

I am speculating. It would be great if I was wrong, but its kinda common sense.

I got them to reset, and they downloaded differently, which implies at minimum the download corrupts them.

Did it work? How did the download go?
Did you do this today?

I hope it is possible to get the broken hands.

I can confirm. The same hand, once again, recorded over and over.

Do you have a link or could you explain how to get the hands to save? I have the HUD catcher, but it doesn't save the hands to my holdem manager.

On a separate note, nice username. The days of watching sbrugby battle Phil Ivey heads up on full tilt were great.

I think the easiest way honestly is just watch the card catcher tutorial. It's only a couple of minutes. Just click on it in the interface. The hands save by default to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ace Poker Solutions\Ignition Card Catcher\Handhistories

If you are having difficulty importing them though, watch the video.

Do I need to buy the new ignition converter? I've been using the bovada one and it was working fine until today I couldn't import hands from a couple of days ago...

No, if you had bovada, you get the ignition converter free. It's essentially the same product. The problem is, if you read above, that the hands are being corrupted from ignition right now. We're waiting on them to fix it.

In the past, Card Catcher didn't auto detect tables with HM2 and you had to manually attach the HUD to each table. Does anyone know if that is still the case, or if it works seamlessly now with HM2?

The bovada (ignition) card catcher will attach automatically attach a hud w/ HM2 now.

FreakDaddy,

I've been using the hand catcher but it seems to miss hands. Particularly large all in pots. Any idea how to fix it or what the problem may be?

Here is the email I just sent them:

Quote:
Hi,

I have been a customer with Bovada for years before the switch from the Bovada poker room to ignition and I am very disappointed that the hand histories are not available for download anymore. When I go to download the hand histories the same hand is duplicated over and over numerous times.

Being able to download accurate hand histories is what the players are able to do to protect themselves from collusion or other suspicious activity at the tables.

When will this problem be resolved?

Thank you,
Maybe if everyone can take the time to copy and paste this email it will expedite the process.
