hey guys have a question, I import my ignition hands and convert them to be seen in HEM2 with all hole cards shown. ok so now is it possible to maybe see stats of the "player pool" of all known whole cards? For example the pool opens 25% in this position? thanks

Yes, you can do population tendency studies from this information. Absolutely. It's a pretty unique opportunity really.

You can see them with PT4 and HM2, but with HM2 you need an older version (which we provide a link to download). But newer versions will not allow all known hole cards.

It's an issue with Ignition's update. The hands that are being saved and are downloadable are completely wrong. There's no way to repair them either, most of them are duplicates of the same hand over and over.

They are aware though, and have to fix it. But when will they, we don't know.

Hi FreakDaddy,

Thanks for your prompt replies in the thread so far.

I have a question. When Ignition fixes this issue, do you think they will "restore" earlier hands (since Oct 19th I think?) and let us download those too? Typically the download period is only a week long or so, and I was wondering if some of these hands were permanently lost.

Maybe you're not the right person to direct this question at, but thought I'd give it a try.

Yes, this is frustrating that Ignition botched the hand history downloads, starting around 10/19. If you look at the game transactions tab, expand a session and click show hands, you can see that they actually have all the hands on their server. But they've messed up the export to file, which is what we need.

Yeah, I wish I knew guys, but ignition won't say much. I wouldn't count on getting the old hands, but you never know at this point. Anything is possible.

Like I said earlier, in the meantime there's the card catcher, or you can try drivehud as well. Either of those will at least catch hands (minus zone hands).

Tried to download hands today......
found 1221 hands, with 250 skipped.

When I uploaded it to pokertracker I got 103 hands, 10 errors, and 903 duplicates

I hope this is fixed soon bc I binked a huge tourney cash and want to see my graph(humble brag).

Yeah, probably not. We still don't know as their support really doesn't know what their development team will do.

In the meantime there's the card catchers, and drivehud. Both will catch data on there at least.

Is there any way to use either HUD to save the hand histories? Or some other way to scrape the hands from the screen as they are played? I am not optimistic that Bovada will get this sorted out in a timely manner and I could see it being a problem in the future.

They do have the ability because I convinced them once to reset the last 30 days and allow me to download all hands from that time period.

I don't think they are saving correctly in the first place. I think those hands do not exist.
