I'm getting a lot of issues with Ignition Card Catcher at the moment, lots of tables get missed and software just refuses to recognise them. today I had a new glitch though, I was satout waiting for BB and a hand played out. Another player won the pot but card catcher said that I won the pot (even though i was not dealt in).

This is for cash tables. currently using 2.13.0 version. any thoughts

OR sometimes it will say it's not tracking the table (while actually importing the hands) but won't display the hud (using Hem2)

Wrong thread guys. This is for the hand converter.

You need to update your catcher.

No worries. If you have any issues, just let me know in the card catcher thread.

Hands are downloading from ignition but when I click 'convert folder' in the program and find click ok on my number it says "no text files found. please select another folder." whats weird is that I have two instances of ignition in my folder one labeled ignition and the other ignition2 which i don't remember from the past when I used to do this. fwiw neither work and each gives the same error message.

Downloaded hands by ignition have been moved to a new location since their last update.

They are now in:
C:\Users\(your system username)\Ignition Casino Poker\Hand History\XXXXXX <-(some random Player ID number)

As requested,

I'm using both Ignition Card Catcher and Hand Converter. Converted folder and found 9.1k hands, imported to Hm2 and only 7.9k hands transferred.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Haven't had any issues with the converter (other than a few dropped hands here and there) until today. I just tried to convert history from 5 tables and one of them resulted in an error; "File Errors: 1". I sent a log to support but any idea what this could be? Thanks

Corrupted files. Ask Ignition for a re-download request. This happens every Ignition update. For a few weeks after, they seem to have bad hand histories randomly.

Bump.

Any idea why hands would convert successfully but had 1.2k hands missing during import to HM2?

Thank you.

Because they were previously converted and are still in the folder or they are corrupted. It's going to be one of those. This happens during every Ignition update. There's a couple of week period where hand histories get screwed up from them. I don't know why, but you can re-request hands from the dates you think are missing and those new hands tend to work.

Thanks- this did the trick!

While I'm on the topic... I always manually count the hands in hand history after a session and for as long as I can remember, converted/imported hands tend to be 3-10 hands light. The win/loss amount is almost always dead on accurate but any idea why this disparity? Could it be that certain conditions don't result in hands that can be read or imported?

No big deal, as everything else seems to be captured properly, I'm mostly just curious what it could be.

Is the 8079 still the only version that works will all cards revealed and no errrors? Or can I use the latest release of HM2 now and it will work ok?

Incomplete hands or stale hands that are still in the directory. It will convert 100% of completed hands that aren't compromised in some way. If you ever get any errors in your database is when you need to be concerned really. But again, this should never be the case unless an update by the poker client changes something.

any idea why HEM2 thinks that my zone hands and my regular table hands are 2 different players? I think it's related to hands I played on mobile and hands I played from desktop.

If you converted both as hero though, they should show as the same player in HM2. I honestly haven't heard of that. I'd take a look at the original hands and see if there's any differences. There shouldn't be though.

HEM2 thinks my Fast hands (and some of my regular table hands) are from PokerStars, and thinks all of my regular speed hands are on iPoker

i just created an alias with both profiles attached, that may be the workaround.

Ok, that makes more sense. You must have the ignition card catcher and the converter. So your card catcher hands save as ipoker, and your hand converter hands save as pokerstars. The converter does not split it up between two sites. Both fast fold and regular games are converted as pokerstars.

that makes sense! closer inspection looks like there are some duplicate sessions in the alias and between the card catcher and converter hands. is there a better work around?

Don't list them as an alias, and just switch between them when you're analyzing your game.

Just curious if its possible, that way i can see all the hole cards.

thanks.
I found that after you import the hands to hm2 archive you can then grab them to import to DriveHUD.

Is there any plan to make IHC work for DriveHUD?

No because we're working on a native HH import for Drivehud.
