The directory pt uses by default is /processed. You need to use the parent folder and imo.its easier to select multiple files rather than the directory.

Yea, I'm importing from the parent directory. Just to be clear, the hands seem to import fine. It's just that it's taking an abnormally long time.

When you I port then parent Dir, it also imports everything from the processed folder which slows down the Import for me. Maybe try changing the settings on the converter so it m,bed the processed files elsewhere. That's what I ended up doing.

I have a blue Tribeca warning that says
Warning: Tribeca: Unrecognized game type: (with what seems to be random hands here)

The first time I imported this didn't happen. Now it happens everytime and I watch the tutorial closely, do everything he says to do and this still happens....what is this? What is Tribeca?

Anyways the hands and money seem to all be there. I still feel like some problems may pop up in the future because of this though.

Also it imports normally for a few hundred hands then does that weird blue Tribeca thing for the rest of em.

Anybody else having this problem? Any suggestions?

I feel like I'm on repeat with this question. Not your fault, but I've answered it so many time this week on here. Bovada changed their HH format last week. They are now logging hands you sit out of. The converter is logging these as errors right now since they are not full hands. They are not errors though. The next version will just remove these hands.

Second, is the trial version intended to support tournaments? I wasn't able to import tourneys or SNGs. Does the MTT version support STT SNGs?
No, the current version does not. There is a new version coming out this week that will though.

hehe... guys right above you just answered this question.

Put the processed hand folder somewhere else, or don't allow PT to import sub folders. The Tribeca error is what PT shows a lot of times when it doesn't know the format, since it's trying to import the original hands from the processed folder.

not sure what's going on, but when I went to start the hand converter tonight, it acted as if it were not registered.
so, I dug up my registration code from the original email (March) and put it in,
then I got another error saying there were errors during my registration, I can retry, if problems persist, contact customer service.

on the "details" it says:
could not register license
could not register with server

I also get a "validation notice" that says "the serial number is invalid or could not be used to unlock the software. please try again or contact customer support for assistance."

if I copy the details to clip board I get

I also am having issues, it's asking me to re-register and I don't have any of the registration information. Haven't switched computers or anything.

HI, I downloaded hands from two days ago and Bovada says "open hand history file" so I guess it's all done right? But when I try to convert the hands into BHHC it says "no text files (.txt) have been found in the history folder you specified.
please select another folder).
It this problem on Bovadas end? Any suggestions?

well, do you know where your Bovada hands go when you down load them?
and are the HHs in that directory?

and is the converter pointed there?

or did you not get the hands from Bovada?

I have noticed that the hands "arrive from Bovada at random times if I stay logged on, but if I log out of Bovada & log right back in, I get the hands as soon as I log back in.

not sure from your post if you downloaded them a few days ago, or if the hands were from a few days ago & you just tried to download them.

odd - and now, as if by magic, I tried to start the hand converter and it opened normally.

was that my karma reward for trying to help qicwik ?

Make sure your system clock is correct. That always messes everything up if somehow it got changed.

Clock is correct. It has to be something on their end, not mine. I literally have changed nothing, I emailed their support asking for my license key again and maybe it will let me re-register.

So we have a beta version of tournament support. We did a bunch of testing so far and it looks good, but I'm putting it up on here for anyone interested. You can download it here:
http://acepokersolutions.com/files/B..._SetupBETA.exe

Quick change log:
1) S&G and MTT support added for Holdem and Omaha. If your 24 hour trial is up, then you need to purchase a tournament license to use it.
2) Zone poker support added. Click the settings button to enable or disable zone hands importing as PS zoom.
3) Removed errors for partial HH's where you sat out a hand and Bovada was creating partial HH's which the converter was logging as an error.
4) Changed default HH folder for processed hands so it's not a sub folder of the primary conversion folder (mostly for PT users).

It's very possible you could have opened it right as the developer was updating the licensing on the server. I think there was about an hour window today a couple of hours ago when he had to take it down to update. If you emailed though they will get it reset, no problem.

Thanks for all your help guys. But I seem to be getting further and further from getting my hands.
Freakdaddy: I moved my processed hand folder (Im hoping thats what I moved) and that's when I got the new problem up top where it says "no text files have been found in the history folder you specified" when I hit the Convert Folder in BHC.

William: How do I check if the hands are going to that directory? Everything is default so I'm guessing it is. And yes the converter is pointing to the default place.
Yes I beleive the hands should be there already as in Bovada it says "open hand history file", where when it's still downloading it says "download requested".

Sorry guys I'm completely incompetent with computers so I really appreciate your help and patience.

Try the beta version link above. The default folders are moved so this might make it easier for you. Make sure to watch the video because it explains everything you'll need to know. Once you get it down once, it's super simple because everything will default to the correct place.

Make sure you have hands in your bovada folder. If it's saying there are no hands there, then you may not have them downloaded, OR they were moved from another time when you converted them, and then they'd be in the processed hand folder (the 2nd folder down in BHC).

Yup, that was it. I just opened it again now and it didn't ask me for the registration code.

I wonder why Bovada decided to include hand histories for hands dealt while you are sitting out. Are they including hole cards? This could be construed as observed hands (while it lasts lol).

Ok, good. Sorry about that, but we needed to add the new licensing for tournaments so if you hit that window then.. But anyone else having that issue it should be ok now.

I think, but I'm not 100% sure, it's only once you sit out, it's generating the last hand. It wasn't doing this before, and I don't think if you continue to sit it will create hands as far as I can see.

Ok, I've installed the beta BHC and when I import the hands into pt4 I get new warning signs. This time it's saying in red letters:
Error:Pokerstars: Invalid pot size/winnings for hand #xxxxxxxxxxx
I got 7,611 of these errors.

How do I check if the hands have even been down loaded from bovada into my computer?

Sounds like they're doing this as a workaround for some technical reason we'll never know.

So basically the old version you were trying to import tournament hands correct? We never supported tournaments until today (the new beta).

Send me the hand histories and I'll look at them. I will PM you.
